The moving parts of the empennage have been increased to put them at the good dimension:

The engraving of the empennage was filled with putty because this piece is practically smooth. I also represented the chaff-flares dispensers.

Thanks everybody. First, I spray the colour then I apply a thin coat of clear varnish. When it’s dry, I do a Sépia wash in the hollows and I drybrush the highlights. To simulate the dirty grease in the well, I apply some thin dots of “burn sienna†oil in the rivets and I blend it with a small brush. The base material is a plastic card . I heat it above a candle. When the plastic warps, I press it on the part that I want to reproduce: I use Evergreen profiles to make the patterns: An exemple with the reproduction of a BF-109 canopy: Sorry for my poor English. :) I h

Thanks everybody for yours comments. :P It seems ok with this kit. Maybe, a little bit of putty but it’s normal with an old kit. Thanks for your offer, Sebastijan For the moment, I have enough documentation but if I need some particular pics, I’ll think to you. No, it’s the same blade for all materials. In fact, I don’t try to cut completely the metal. I just pass the blade to make a mark and I bend the piece to cut it. For the holes, I use a punch and die set. Bye
