Have had calls from all sorts over the years claiming to be my bank or energy/ satellite tv suppliers wanting to confirm details and whatnot and I always say the same thing, if you're from the company you claim to be you'll have those details already, and if its that important you can write to me. Its just so easy for the lowlives to get your details nowadays. Been the victim of people fraudulently using my details a few times now so its very much a case of once bitten unless I'm dealing face to face with such people.

Ok, I've got a good idea of where they'll be if they havent gone the way of a charity shop, will have a look over the weekend, cant vouch for having the instruction booklets though I'm sure the key commands and whatnot can easily be found online.

Haven't read the whole thread but just noticed the mention of snow tyres above, was one the phone with my insurance people because my policy is up in the New Year and the mention of snow tyres came up, if you fit them some insurance companies see them as a modification and wont pay out if you haven't declared them and need to claim so just a heads up. We had about half a foot here last night but luckily I have 2 days off so didn't need to battle it into work for a change.

Just had my banks anti-fraud people on the phone, a series of payments for £50 x 4 were made after the obligatory test tries of £1 to microsoft online services, hadn't bought anything from Hannants since the first week of their website(will also continue to shop there). Could be a coincidence, this was a debit card. So doesn't look to be over just yet folks.

Thats the beauty of the night shift, gaps in the rail traffic where I can attempt to find interesting things on the interweb that arent blocked by the company internet filters, actually amazed I can get on here as most forums are blocked. Got my last train about to pass the box in about 15 minutes, the engineers are on the other track doing maintainence so the night is mine until things get moving again around 2:30am.

Hey guys currently stuck in work where the internet is severly restricted to what I can do and view so its stopping me doing a lot of this research myself. What I'm looking for is info on if the US Navy A-1s used Napalm during the war in Vietnam, specifically the BLU27 finned or unfinned flavours. Any help appreciated.

Thanks for the tip bob, that part in question was my first suspect for the culprit so I unscrewed it from the body of the airbrush and hooked it up to the compressor and pressed down on it and sure enough, it let out air, so I knew atleast that part was working, so came to the conclusion that it was where the air went once it went into the body and noticed a 1mm wide hole so, me being me I stuck a drill bit down it and out came a glob of dried up matt varnish that had plugged the hole. So its all working now. Thanks for the help though.

OK, so I fixed it, I left it alone for an hour or so because I was starting to get angry with it and I could see the whole thing being thrown at the wall or in the bin. So when I went back I sat and thought what could it be, so out of all other options, I put a 1mm drill it on my pin vice and stuck it down the chamber the air passes down and when I withdrew it out came a glob of dried humbrol matt varnish, how it got there, no idea, but atleast I now have a working airbrush. Moral of the story, just leave it alone and come back to it later.

So, bring down all my model making gear to the kitchen work area I use as my workbench, prime the parts that need some paint on them, mix up some paint to shoot, fire up the compressor, press the trigger and nothing. No air coming into the brush, checked the air hose for a blockage, nothing, air escaping out of the open end at full pressure, dismantle and clean the air brush, put back together, nothing. I'm thinking its the actual bit the hose screws onto and the needle the trigger presses down onto, but no idea on how to check. So this is a half rant, half plea for help from anyone that might
