    Painting 1/72 A/C with Brush questions

    Please excuse me if this questions seems silly. I airbrush EVERYTHING I build. However in preparation to moving to a different town I have packed most of my supplies and kits except for some bottled paints, glue and other tools. I am in the process of building a couple of 1/72 a/c while waiting to move and my question dwells in painting a/c with brushes instead of airbrushing. How do I keep the brush from leaving streaks, what type of brush-softness ect do I use to brush paint these aircraft. I a little expirment I brush painted a little area and the brush left streaks. Anyhow any help would be great.
