  1. Jari & Finn ! Thanks so much...the diagrams wjth dimensions and the clear photos are 'jujst what I needed......thanks eversomuch ! Gerald T. "Jerry" Robinson Duluth, MN USA "THUDNUTZ"
  2. Thanks a bunch Finn.......I didn't think I'd have any luck on this one.....I should be able to 'whittle-one-out' from a 'hank-of-sprue-styrene' ....(maybe) ! Again, thanks........and that YOU-TUBE Video, "Operation Spring High" is well worth watching for THUD and Viet Nam Air War modelers...(watching the bomblets 'spew out of the Dispensers.. is 'awesome) !.... Gerald T. "Jerry" Robinson Duluth, MN USA "THUDNUTZ"
  3. I want to assemble a 1/72 scale F-105D that was flown by Capt. Bill "Black Bart" Bartholmas, during "Operation SPRING- HIGH" on 27 July 1965, to knock-out SAM Missile Sites...... Watch a super detailed CGI video on U-Tube.."Operation Spring High" (about 29-minutes) The video shows the F-105's armed with CBU-2's (2-each on the Centerline MER, and 1-each on the Starboard & Port Outboard Pylons. Try as I might, I can't find any pictures or diagrams of a CBU-2 Dispenser, and none on Hasegawa's Weapons Sets. If anyone can point me to pictures or disgrams of the CBU-2 Dispenser, or know
  4. Thanks fellas for the answers to my F-14B wheel question....much appreciated ! -THUDNUTZ-
  5. With the launch of Steel Beach's "Resin 1/48th F-14B Bits", Daren mentioned one will have to 'source out' aftermarket F-14B 1/48th wheels....anyone know of any aftermarket items ? ? -THUDNUTZ- (JerryRobinson...Duluth, MN
  6. Jackman........I've been contemplating a F-105B also....my idea is to use the nose of the 'old Monogram 'Box' scale F-105B (or, the IMC 'Battle Damaged F-105D' which is the same molding as the Monogram), and saw-off the nose and graft to the Revell F-105D kit...with the cut around the front of the windscreen....the old Monogram "B" has the SMALL RADOME and the More Forward Placed Cannon Port...I've laid the old Monogram fuselage half against the Revell and it 'looks good to me' But, I have not done the conversion yet......(I don't like the Hasegawa "B" or "D" Kits)..
  7. Hello.....for models of the Lockheed F-94 A and B, there are (1/72nd scale), the HELLER F-94B (out of print), and the BOBBYCRAFT (1/48th Scale) F-94 A & B kits (also out of print). I'm sure they can be found via searching. I had a wild hunch that the old LINDBERG 1/48th F-86A could be 'cross-kitted' with ACADEMY'S F-86F with a little 'cutting 'n fudgeing....but I never got around to starting it....the Lindberg had the 'correct "Vee shaped Windscreen'...and the rear fuselage around the area of the Horizontal Stab and Elevator of the LINDBERG kit might be 'grafted
  8. In the early '70's...an East Coast Aftermarket entity, I believe called "A.I.R." (Aircraft in Review), produced decal sheets with letters & numbers in various sizes, in 'BLACK", 'WHITE", and 'RED' (each color, an individual sheet), typing paper size sheets, these letters & numbers could be made into logos like 'USAF', 'U.S. AIR FORCE', 'U.S. ARMY', etc....Buzz Numbers, etc. also, State Abreviations and ANG, various styles......these sheets are now '40-years out-of-print. I think we need this type sheet offered 'AGAIN'...only this time, the letters 'n numbers print
  9. JENNINGS...HAROLD, and everyone else... Found these'pictorial fixes' from some website articles I had printed out in the past....hope these come up for you... http://gallery.kitmaker.net/data/22588/Van...-84F_PR_003.jpg http://gallery.kitmaker.net/data/22588/Van...-84F_PR_004.jpg http://gallery.kitmaker.net/data/22588/Van...-84F_PR_006.jpg http://gallery.kitmaker.net/data/22588/Van...-84F_PR_009.jpg The above was from the 'Aeroscale Website: 'Aircraft: Cold War Forum' around the 7th of Aug '08. Another piece was drawings from T.O. 1F-84F-3... http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b41/mma
  10. Hey Pastafarian (John).....I can print out a copy for you of the 1/72nd ITALERI "F-104A Starfighter" (KIT # 1234 instruction sheet for you and send to you 'snail mail' (I don't have the ability to do so over the computer)....I'll need your 'snail mail address' to send it to you. (The wingtip tanks in this kit 'are the pits'....too narrow & wrong taper)....the ones from the MONOGRAM 1/72nd zipper kit are much better, or maybe the one from the HASEGAWA)...would be better choices...(my humble opinion). jerry555808@yahoo.com Hope that helps. "THUDNUTZ" (Jerry Robinson) Duluth, MN
  11. A corrected profile Nose (from the start of the windscreen to tip of the radome) in 1/48th for the MONOGRAM/REVELL & Hobbyboss "F-105 Thud series" (maybe 1/72nd too!).....and 'down the line', maybe an F-105B nose also...regarding the "D", "F", & "G"..just the plain early noses; per the early 'Silver Painted "LOOK ALIKE" aircraft...the gun camera fairings can be 'cobbled from the Thud kits themselves...(something along the lines of the 'online article on correcting the Thuds Nose by: ROGER JACKSON. "THUDNUTZ" (Jerry Robinson) in Duluth, MN USA
  12. Harold.... A 1/48th Complete Nose (From front of Windscreen - to - tip of Radome for Monogram/Revell THUDS and HBBYBOSS pretty-please! "THUDNUTZ" (Jerry Robinson Duluth, MN USA
  13. WILDWEASEL / MICHAEL: How's progress on your Hobbycraft F-94B coming along ???? Are you 'near-to-finishing it ??? Sure would appreciate a progress report....not many folks model the F-94, and so far you've done a FANTASTIC JOB... "THUDNUTZ" (Jerry Robinson) Duluth, MN USA
  14. Wild Weasel/Michael ! How is the Hobbycraft F-94B coming along ? Seems to be about 2-1/2 weeks since any new developments, and we F-94 fans would be 'delighted' for some updates. Hope you are still working on the Starfire.. "THUDNUTZ" (Jerry Robinson) in Duluth, MN USA
