Ok, thanks for the heads up. I doubt I'll actually be able to get the Airfix one now, so I'll start looking for the Revell and Italeri versions.
-
Thanks Ray, I'll do that. Never seen the kit here.
-
Thanks a bunch. I'll update you when it arrives
-
Great, thanks. Any chance of some pics?

G'day all Well my girlfriend has bought me a kit for Christmas from our local eBay clone (at my encouragement, that's how I know): the Tamiya 1/72 AH-6 Little Bird. So what's this one like? I'd love to see your builds, hear advice etc.
-
Thanks guys, consider me warned...I'd love to get a Revell or Italeri two-seater, but at the mo I'm trying to flog off my Italeri F-51D and this guy is thinking about it. I mean, swapping an OOP kit of a modern jet for an Italeri WW2 fighter...its a good deal, right?

Had to resurrect this one. Beautiful build. I'm getting the Airfix as well as a resin, and possibly a vacform too, all RNZAF with a great backstory. More soon.
-
G'day all So what's this one like? I may be about to get one via swap, I'd just like to know what I'm in for.

Has anyone built a MBB177, in any scale?

Revell make one in 1/72, I haven't built it (yet) though. -
Strictly speaking the colour is "Foliage Green", which could really be any fairly dark green. Try Googling Foliage Green and see what you can come up with. I have an RAAF paint guide which I'll scrounge out and post for you to help.

Beautiful, absolutely stunning!

How did you get up high enough to take THAT shot?! You're an inspiration! Keep it up.
-
Hell, an injection moulded 1/48 TSR would be impressive, but I'm fine with one in 1/72. Or two. Or seven. Whatever catches my fancy. But damnit I want to see test sprues of the TSR! Test shot please!

what do YOU think Trumpeter should do next in 1/32?

My LHS is holding a TSR.2 for me when they arrive. Jeez, just imagine one in 48th. Mmmmmmm.....injection-moulded 1/48 TSR.2....
-
Great, I had a hunch it had to be Revell or Italeri. Have to get one and make a Kiwi example. Thanks again.

G'day all Well a few months ago the good ol' RNZAF decided to buy the NH.90 to replace our hard-working but forty year old Hueys. So I was wondering what kits are available of the NH.90?
-
Damn. Thanks for trying though.
-
How do they build up, and do you have pics?
-
Nice. I've liked Brisfits for a while (Peter Jackson owns a replica one and has an authentic aircraft under restoration to airworthy, both only an hour's flight away) and I love seeing them...I'm always staggered by the amount of detail some people can put into a 1/72 fighter...especially one from the Great War! Very impressive!

This is AMAAAAAZING I'm lost for words, wow, I wanna see more like this. I, oh, I can't write. Too cool, way too cool!
-
I should say that I'm getting this kit for FREE from a forum friend in the US.
