  1. Are you referring to hose clamps? If so chrome foil looks pretty convincing. Probably not bright chrome, that might look a bit out of place. Try dulling it down with some fine steel wool first.
  2. Can you put up a link? I can't find it anywhere?
  3. I have some first hand experiance with the business end of the trash truck and yours is looking pretty good. I wouldn't put trash in the back since you wouldn't drive with the hopper open, it would be down with the tuck blade closed. One thing your missing is a cylinder on top for the cable that pics up the rear load dumpsters.
  4. This makes me want to buy two or three more hase SH kits... Just gotta figure out how to sneak them past the wife :D
  5. WOW! Talk about getting your ace status in 1 flight!!! That's just awesome.
  6. Sweet, I might have to get myself one of these since the price has come down.
  7. That's gonna look Pretty sweet. Are you building the trumPy kit?
  8. I always have trouble with my TnF just quitting on me... I will clean them out and take a fine wire to the needle, but they just seem to not work anymore. I use tenax, and I wonder if it doesnt degrade the stuff they use to seal the needle to the glass tube after awhile?
  9. Better check the wheels, front IP, and which B set up do you want? Bomber, Tarps? There are different configirations for the back seat, and the front is different, less digi stuff on the B's.
  10. A'men to that... wow, that was awfully hard to try to read
  11. WOW! Look at the beak on that thing! Sorry, nothing against your skills, just the horrific shape of the kit parts!
  12. put a wad of poster putty in the well, thats a little big, put your (*)brake on top of it, push it down till it fits the way you like, and glue that bad boy in there, no muss, no fuss...
  13. Hasegawa's customer service is pretty lousy, IMO, Had to order a couple parts that were missing for a tomcat kit, it took nearly 3 months to get them, and the people that answered can hardly speak or understand english (not trying to be offensive here...)
  14. I've noticed with my builds, if you over do it a little before the gloss and flat coats, it will tone down some, but if you do it just right before all that, its really, really subtle... just something that annoys the hell out of me...
  15. I like to preshade and use an oil wash... preshading, to me, gives it the look of dirt thats been worked into the paint, darkening it a bit, and then I use the oil wash to accent the lines, and wipe most of it off, but leaving some to replicate oil streaking or staining.
