  1. Does it have to be an airliner? As I recon AF1 is heavily modified anyway, could C5M, for example, be turned into presidential "business jet" ?
  2. +1 for Future Try it - you will be surprised how strong is the bond!
  3. The forum engine only allows me to post eight images per post
  4. Recently completed with custom printed decals
  5. As I understand, he prints them occasionally when then he has enough requests. I think the best way is to ask Keith himself. http://www.keithmcneill.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/
  6. Sebastian, you may consider Keith McNeill's tile photodecals: Available in 1:200, 1:144 and 1:72
  7. Another suggestion - you may come out without sanding at all. Fill the gap with putty, let it cure. Than soak a q-tip in cheapest acetone nail polish remover and simply remove excess of putty as it is aggressive enough to dissolve putty but not kit's plastic.
  8. Yes. This one: http://www.internetmodeler.com/scalemodels/flaviation/BPK-Boeing-T-43A-737-253-Navigation-Trainer.php

  10. Usually I don't. Take a look - this is what could be built out of Revell kit: I'd say the panel lines look quite natural. Full story (including some in-process pics) here - sorry, Russian only: http://scalemodels.ru/modules/myarticles/img_6006_1359730411_IMG_1530_1.jpg.html
  11. Zvezda has announced brand new A320.
  12. I started mine some four years ago.... Given up http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234911425-alpha-delta/
  13. I guess there must be something that is called "tradition". Britain was once a center of vacuforms, Poland is known for paper models, CZ for resin.
  14. Gabor, Yufei, Any plans to downscale to 1:72 ?
  15. Confirmed - add nose weight. Point.
  16. I have about 50 boxes in my loft (about 10 years to build with my current building velocity), the main reasons I buy are: - found a bargain on eBay, bought widely available kit much cheaper than on high street - OOP kit - short runs, resin kits and vacuforms - first presses are usually of better quality But the most important - buying a new kit is a joy - I love to look what's inside the box and envisage me building and putting the model into the display cabinet.
  17. I can only agree with everything that is said above. Start with original "Dune". All the movies are just worthless.
  18. Scapilot - thanks for your reply I have a friend who wants to sell a couple of his models that are way beyond just "out of box" builds - super detailed, some of them are entirely scratch built; he has taken gold and "best of the show" on various competitions, therefore he expects the price tag to be much higher.
