  1. Hello, is anybody here? Any progress? The topic landed on the six page but I am still very interested to see finished job.
  2. If i will have to choice rescribing Hasegawa's panel lines or removing HB rivets, I select HB option. The main problem for me is if HB Tomcat has good shape. By now I haven't seen any pictures where I could see it. But I hope that sooner or later we will find finished model of HB Tomcat. Since now Hasegawa vs. HB - 1:1
  3. Yes! I took samples and brought them to the same courier firm in Berlin. The price dropped to 250 EUR. I have to agree but what can we do? Scale modeling is worst than drug addiction ;)
  4. Shipping cost is realy crazy! I found this model in polish shop for about 70$ with shipping cost - the price is comparable with Hasegawa's Tomcat. I will buy. This situations reminds me when I had to send salmon samples from Norway to USA via Poland. For 70 kgs of samples, courier asked me about 7.000 EUR I remember it was cheaper to buy business class ticket and to take salmon samples as hand luggage.
  5. Run! Modeler run! Make that plane, forget the sun, And when at last the work is done, Don't sit down it's time to make another one. And after wash. Which one is better?
  6. No. 48-143, but I was't able to locate it on TB site too :/
  7. Third color was painted. Now it is time to finish gears, fuel tank and make a color-wash. I should finish the plane tomorrow.
  8. It is very hard to make a good pictures. So that's why I haven't added more photos until now.
  9. Two colors were painted. Tail was painted and decals were applied too. Now I'm masking before putting third color.
  10. Too late :D I glued almost whole kit and made the pre-shading. I read your advices and I think that now I will finish AFV kit. I would try to get Wolpack set and when it'll happen I will replace the nose.
  11. I have one question. Does ACMI probe can be mounted on both of wings?
  12. Hi, I've started to build F-5E Tiger II. It will be fast build without any extras. My base was well known kit from AFV Club. Decals from Two Bobs. So, first I glued pilots cocpit, rear part of fuselage and wings, After when I'd painted cockpit, I joined it with front part of fuselage.
  13. If you want decals for other paint scheme than VF-111, I can send you my decals sheet.
  14. I wasn't sure if NAVY's Phantoms could take Sidewinders, bombs and fuel tanks. I checked many pictures and I found only pictures with Phantoms armed in Sidewinders and bombs without fuel tanks under wings. Thx all for your kind comments. It is very motivating.
  15. I removed the strengthening of the wing and rescribed panel lines. I didn't do anything more with the wings. As I remember both of them - smaller and wider main wheel are on the Hasegawa kit. I had to add the antena probe under the nose - it is the worse (self made) element in this model. I used Aires Phantom's B/N exhaust nozzles too. From the distance this model looks like Phantom N-version.
