Hi everybody, I have decided to build a little diorama for each plane that i make. Many reasons for that : it bring more feeling than a plane alone on a table, it's easier to carry in meetings, and you can tell a story around your kit, or describe a moment or a scene in a plane's life... So, i have made seven dioramas for the moment (all in 72 scale). Two are not finished yet (both with SU-27). I must put an identification text with essentials informations on all of them (scale, name of the plane, county etc...) http://www.hiboox.fr/go/albums/divers/dios...f8670b2b0398eaa Thanks to see ...

Very great job, Pierre Christian...as usual .... I have not seen your model on french forums ... Is it normal or i have made an error ? Carry on !!! It's a very good start !!! Seb

This is mine, with Aires cockpit, Steel Beach covers (not for nozzle, they are "home made"), some Fine Molds and Eduard parts ...and of course, Fightertown decals... The scale is 1/72, and it has been realized only with brushes ... More pics here : http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index....howtopic=184294 Thanks... Seb

Hi Mike et thanks a lot for all your comments, I am not an expert in modelling, and it's a very very very long road to reach this level ... So, for this model, i have placed cristal parts after decalling and painting. This is usually my process. But i think that it's not a good method. So, in the future, i will glue cristal parts before (during the build itself...),and then, i will protect all this parts for the paint stage. I have had some problems to sand correctly the putty used for these parts... And all the modellers that i know glue these parts before... Thanks again. Seb Thanks

The Armament of this Tomato Cat is very unusual. I have made a mistake with the TALD : i thouht that it was a JSOW. May be i will change it if a TALD exists for the 72 sclae modelers ... Then, some structure details, with famous grim reapers's angel of death : Thanks for reading and all comments are welcomed... Seb

Hi everybody, I am very pleased to intoduce you this F-14 that i have finished few minutes ago ... This is the Hasegawa one, with Aires cockpit, Steel Beach covers (not for nozzle, they are "home made"), some Fine Molds and Eduard parts ... Decals are Fightertown's master pieces, as usual ...thanks Brian... Some views of Aires cockpit, with Remove before Flight from Eduard :

I have used Steel Beach accessories that you can buy at the Spruebrothers's web site. It's very simple to use, and makes a good effect. Today, i have painted the crews, and fixed them on the plane. Now, i make the final touch, with artist oils.... Thanks for all your support... Seb

The most colorfull, in my opinion .... NSAWC for ever .... Seb

I want to build this dio, with an Hasegawa Tomcat that i have built this year too. With crews and ground accesories, it will be finished (i hope in january 2009) : Thanks a lot and happy new year again !!! Seb

Hi everybody and happy new year, I have almost finished my second Academy Hornet. For this one, i have used Wolfpak Design 's flaps, Aires cockpit and wheel bay, and of course, Fightertown decals. It was not vey easy to put Aires accesories in the Académy's fuselage, but with a lot of sanding, three tones of putty and so many patience .....it looks great !!! Some details pics:
-
Thanks very much for all .... this Académy kit will become a best seller very quikly .... Seb
-
Thanks mister Bugfan .... my ansewer is : yes for the sidewinder, but on a other plane (an Hasegawa one of my collection...), and no for the ACMI pod... My paintjob is only with brushes .... and Lifecolor .... Seb

Some details : The next model will be .... the same kit, with an other Fightertown decals choice. At the end, it will be like this (i hope ...) All remarks are welcomed... Seb
