Here is my recently completed 1/72 Tamiya A6M3 Hamp. Painted with Tamiya acrylics with the exception of the cowling which was Mr Color "cowling color" and the prop which was Alclad. An excellent fitting kit. Weathered with pastels and oils.

It has been a while since I have finished anything. This is my Hasegawa 1/72 A6M2b. Only addition was PE seat belts I hope you like it.

I just finished this one. It is the new Airfix PRXIX in 1/72. I added Quickboost exhausts and prop/spinner. I also added a seat harness decal from one of the Tamiya kits. I drilled out the carb intake as I think it looks better this way and added a whip antenna on the fuselage spine from a toothbrush bristle. The markings are from Extradecal. A real nice little kit to build. Geoff

Mikester, my reference is the Excellent Air Power Editions book "Hans-Joachim Marseille" a must have book for modeling Marseilles Aircraft. This aircraft is on pages 42-47 wk no 10059 his 15th aircraft! I chose it because of the yellow on the spinner!! Glad you liked it. Geoff

Finished this one yesterday. It is painted with Gunze lacquers and weathered with pastels, oils and silver pencil. The oly addition was PE seatbelts. I had accidentaly spilt Super Glue on one wing after nearly finishing it, so had to strip the wing re decal and repaint it, but it all came out Ok in the end. Hope you like it.

Just finished this one last weekend. I added some quickboost exhausts, True Details wheels, Eduard PE here and there and a resin Nav light on the fuselage spine from Aires. Painted with MM enamels and weathered with pastels, oils and silver pencil. I used the kit decals. I didnt have a spit with the extended wingtips in my collection so now I do! Geoff

Here is how I do my panel lines. After applying Future for decals and applying the decals I will give anothe light coat of future over the decals to seal them. I then just give an oil wash using in this case some Mig black and brown oils mixed (a bit more on the brown side since this paint job is a light one) and some turpenoid thinned to about the consistency of coffee. I use a thin brush and apply the mixture to the panel lines and the capillary action will allow it to run down the panel line. Exess is wiped away with my finger as the turpenoid will not affect the Future. I always wipe in th

Well, I finally got something finished this year. It is painted with Tamiya Acrylics. I just picked it because it looked like a nice easy kit and it was. Not one of my best efforts, but it feels good to get something finished. Now to get all those other half started projects finished!!

Only finished 5 this year and the first year I have built more in 1/48 than in 1/72. 1/48 Hasegawa F4U-5N 1/48 Hasegawa HS-129 1/48 Trumpeter Sea Fury Academy 1/72 F/A-18C Pegasus 1/48 Hurricane Mk 1 Have a Merry Christmas everyone! Geoff

My latest build, the Pegasus snap together kit built as a raffle prize for the local Scottish society. Painted with Tamiya paints, I added a PE seat harness. Not a bad little kit for a snap together.

No problem, you can use whatever pictures you want. If you would like me to try and take some better ones, let me know and thanks for making the nice decals availiable!! Geoff

I just finished this one up this afternoon. It is the Academy F/A-18C. I added a resin seat from Quickboost and decals from MAW. Otherwise the kit is straight from the box. It is painted with Model Master Enamels and weathered with oils. A very fun kit to build. The nose wheels both do sit flat, but due to my photo set up I had to position the model in one photo where they did not. Definately not my last jet build, and a nice change from the normal WW2 stuff I do.

The markings are from MAW decals. Here is pretty much where I am at now with the flat coat applied and the panel line wash of Dark Grey oil paints. The canopy will be displayed open. A very enjoyable build, now I will have to start a Super Hornet after this to set next to it!! Hope you like it!! Geoff
