  1. Wow Deino, I'm very excited for you! I've got a huge interest in PLAAF and PLANAF aircraft, so I'll be getting both. Can the books be preordered or do I have to wait til Oct 29? PS don't forget to shamelessly plug your books on whatif
  2. Well, whatever Zvezda comes up with, I hope they have the 2-seat canard variants in mind...
  3. Oh, that's fine. Your investment in this would be larger than mine, so I'm already grateful that you guys have agreed to do the sheet in the first place. I'm still working on my KC-135 and I got sidetracked with another project (haha, like that doesn't happen to modelers) so I was going to see if I needed to hurry up and get back to it. I think I'll work on getting it to the decal point and stop there until the decal is out then. Thanks!!!!
  4. A couple of us had badgered Jennings for some KC-135R sheets a few months back. Is this still on a late summer/early fall schedule?
  5. Has there been any thought to an iOS/Android/Windows Mobile port? Something that can be put on a database to be accessible on a smartphone would be nice feature, since that would come in really handy when at a the local hobby store or a show.
  6. SWEET!!! I freaking can't wait. By the way, is that green/blue scheme representative of North Korean MiG-29s, or was it just that one, or does nobody really know? I seem to recall that the green/gray scheme was applied too.
  7. That looks like fun! I hope it'll be available on Blu-Ray/DVD in the US.
  8. Not yet, but soon I suppose. If you have any friends who are attending the IPMS Nationals right now, you can have them pick one up for you at Hobbylink Japan. They're going at $36.
  9. Congratulations Kursad! I love this sheet. Look forward to it showing up in ARC soon.
  10. Awesome! I'm a 1/72 builder myself so I'm looking forward to it.
  11. Sorry to hear this Jennings. Glad to hear you're at least safe. Good luck on the cleanup.
  12. Gaaaah!!!! I was hoping to dump my Fujimi sheet! Awwww :(
  13. I remember a couple of years back when WI's were treated like the lepers of the modeling community. If anything it runs the gamut from crazy, humorous stuff like Alvis', to some neat marking schemes like the ones from Keith Diamond. There's a guy on whatifmodelers.com who specializes in WI Spitfires, but you'd never know from looking at them - he does all the various paper sub-variants. I like the whole approach of "what if so-and-so-country bought so-and-so aircraft?" like the RAF B-1 I'm doing. I'm working on figuring out how to graft 4 Bristol Pegasus engines from the Airfix Concorde on
  14. Hooray! I'm just going to get started on a Mig-29.
  15. Um Viper would you PM me your email address so I send the pictures over? Thanks.
  16. I'm wondering too. I got two of the same sprue for one of my Trumpeter kits. I emailed 2 months ago but never heard back.
  17. Wouldn't this allow the builder to do that teal primer scheme?
  18. I've got the box. I'll send you a scan tonight.
  19. Time to get psyched up for the release of this sheet!!!
  20. Alright!!! This one I'm super looking forward to! Can we preorder this?
  21. Awesome! Looking forward to it.
  22. Hi Kursad, Just saw this thread. Looking forward to doing an SG in 1/72.
  23. Ah, OK. So I guess they're the Apple of the modeling world. Thanks guys! Guess I'll do you guys a favor and spend the time and resources on the Trumpeter kit so the Tamiya'll one will show up like a day or two after I'm done.
