Has anyone else ran into this? 12 metal gun barrels for the 14" main guns and one of them is too short! It looks like the barrel was cut off right where it begins to flare out. Is it possible to get a replacement from Trump in my life time or am I just doomed to order a whole new set from Sprue Bros for $21.00?

OK, I'll keep my fingers crossed. -
As to be expected, when you need one, you can't find one . I'm in need of a 1:72 Waco Glider, I think Italeri is the only game in town. If you have one you can part with, let me know and thanks in advance.

These were the most common. The chin guns had the same suppressors. Hope this helps.

The Fort had flash suppressors on the tail guns and the chin turret guns in the case of late model 'F's and all 'G's.

Hi Chuck. I have a batch of them: B-24 B-17 M-4 Sherman F-4 Phantom C-47/DC-3 B-52 ISS Space Shuttle They are full of info but as for modeling reference, not so much. Makes for fun reading none the less. The books cover each variant of the subject. Price is pretty good as well. HTH -
Hi Jeff, Not sure the deal with the PM's, but there's plenty of room for more PM's. Anyway, drop me an email, I think the address you had was wrong. I'll send you my email via PM but don't respond with another PM, I won't get it. Hope we can meet next month and maybe get to see the inside of a tanker, lunch will be on me!

While all the self declared expert crash investigators are busy determining the crash of a large plane that killed 2, a small plane also crashed Sunday that killed 10 people. I find it odd that not a single mention of this was made and wonder why not? Usually these things get multitudes of "condolences to friends and families" but not a peep from anyone. Is everyone too busy trying to show other members how clever they are and impress them with their aviation rules, regulations and equipment knowledge that the deaths of 10 people are lost? I find it very disrespectful and tasteless that inst

Advice on getting the faded weathered look on Tomcat.
Flyingfortress replied to Harrier/Viper Fan's topic in Tools 'n' Tips
Balls47 may be referring to the article I did a few years back. I used to use nothing but hairy sticks and got very, very nice results. For the demarcation lines, dry brush the LIGHTER shade and be sure to use a very gentle touch! The same method also works well on 3 tone SEA camo schemes. You can also dry brush a slightly lighter shade on various panels to give them the look of having been opened many times. HTH -
Happy Canada Day, eh!!!
