    B-29

 Hi All, I'm new to this forum thing but finding it very helpful and entertaining. I model just for fun, don't do contests and the wife says it calms my down (she's never seen my deal with a fit issue). Anyway, space has gotten tight and I have room for one more a/c: Revelograms B-29 Superfort. Has anyone built this and if so, is it a decent kit, as in, fit and ease of build? It's this or another F-15 and I want to see props for a change! B)
  3. B) Hi Guys, What's best to thin MM acrylics? I was told rubbing alcohol, distilled water, special purchase acrylic thinner and even windshield washer solvent! I have been using the rubbing alcohol (I use a brush) and I'm wondering how thin is "thin"? Any clues?
  4. Hi Guys, Hope I'm not being a pest but you guys sound like you know your stuff. I had asked about doing plastic surgury on an MH-47E (the fuel sponsons) and someone said I can build the kit OOB but it would be a D model as opposed to an E, I'm guessing because of the sponsons. They also said some other items would need to be left off. I've been all over Google and can't find a difference. Can any of you tell me what to leave off, I think I'm going blind searching for this! 5. Hi All, I just found out what a "forum" is to show you how out of date I am. I've been building a few years now and still use a brush due to the fact I have nowhere to put an airbrush system and the cost is a bit high. I use only MM acrylics and was hoping someone could tell me how to keep brush strokes from showing up. Also, how the hell do you apply white or yellow without applying 37 coats? Any help from the panel? Thanks, Sean in Michigan ;)
  6. Does anyone have any comments on the Italeri 1:72 HH-53 kit? I need a break from jets and the kit looks pretty simple, not like that MH 47. Good or bad comments? Sean
  7. I just received my 1:72 Revell of Germany MH47 Chinook Special Ops helo and was shocked to see I have to do surgury on the kit to replace the sponsons. I hate surgury, I did it on Italeris kit and it sucked. Do you guys know if I can build this kit with the existing sponsons? I really, really don't want to cut!! Thanks, Sean in Michigan
