  1. For those who might be interested, I've posted a couple shots of my sightings of the X-37B and Lacrosse 5 last week; not great shots, but I was lucky to get anything with the light polution. Also in the post are some diagrams from the original REFLY patent that led to the X-37 series: At one point, it was considered for lauch from a Pegagsus-type booster. 4. Hi all: I'm looking to part with this volume; it has these subjects plus updating Greek fighter forces, Spanish F-5A/Bs, and the Short Sunderland. Condition is good - there are a couple of small dogears on the cover. I'm looking for $9.99 via PayPal - this includes domestic shipping within the US via Priority Mail. Overseas would be $20; this includes shipping. I'm selling this direct, so PM me if you're interested; I've also got some things FA at eBay, here: http://desc.shop.ebay.com/dataviewpublishing/m.html?_nkw=aviation&_sacat=0&_odkw=aviation&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3911.c0

  8. Thanks - I was playing about with things, as I found some charcoal pencils I'd forgotten about. In the shaded areas, there's a base layer of ink, well not hashmarks, more like curlicues and small wavy lines, over top of that I went to work with the pencil - that ended up being too dark, so I worked over that with a wet fingertip, and that got closer to the texture I that I wanted...just a bit messy LOL
  9. Oh, well done! It's easy to forget that the Supermarine line did not really end with the Scimitar, at least in terms of paper projects.
  10. Pen and Ink (really ink and pencil) style over top of a photo manipulation: Now if I could just get the rest of the charcoal pencil residue off of my hands - looks like I was just fingerprinted...
  11. "Pit Viper" - very apt!! Although I like "Mamba" as well...
  12. ended up with a sky that was much too aquamarine...
  13. The US patent plans for Convair's R3Y - actually, this looks to be for the original P5Y concept, as it has the turrets: at: Convair Tradewind 3-view
