Hey Flankerman! How did you do the magazine in the cockpit? As I would like to try this on some of my armour builds as I think this sort of thing adds "life" to a model. Now you putting all this work in, what's the betting Italeri or Revell would release one in 1/72?

If memory serves I think Hasegawa may have done a kit with his markings in it, but I maybe wrong. Maybe someone here with more knowlegde could varify it. HTH.

But why did the F-16's name get changed from "Falcon" to "Viper"? Is "Viper" the unofficial nickname, as I always thought the F-16 was christened "Falcon"! Sorry if this has been covered before.

Yes I was wrong! I've just checked some of my late dad's references and COD Gannet's were RAF Blue Grey. What am I like? LOL!

I think COD Gannet's were painted Oxford Blue If I'm not mistaken, but I'm sure the guys here could be of more help.

Hi Sebastian. The gun bay panels are seperate in the Hasgawa kit of the F-14D that's why I asked.

Is it any good for the Airfix kit? And is the gun bay any good for the F-14D?

Hi Raptor I know about the TD seats. Another question is I have an Airfix F-14A and I was wondering if the Verlinden set with the detailed gun bay would be suitable for this kit? The SJU-17 seats I want are for the hasegawa F-14D's as I have three to build!

SJU-17 seats for an F-14D, and I was informed by Raptor 22 that Aires were the best ones to choose. Well having searched the Hannants site I can't find them. Can anyone else tell me where to look please?

for my F-14D's. I've heard Pavla do some, bur these are copies of the TD one's. So who else does some?
