I'm not an avid modeler, really just trying to restore an old Topping 1/72 McDonnell RF-101 Voodoo Factory Desk Top Model (see link below) that was my Father's. He flew the RF-101 for the KY Air National Guard. He got the model some time in the mid-to-late 1960's when his unit switched from the RB-57 Canberra to the RF-101. Of course us kids wanted to "fly Daddy's plane" so we tied a string to it and spun it around. Being the little demons we were, we lost control and crashed the jet into a couple of pieces.
He must have really liked that jet because he glued it back together and kept it for the rest of his life. And Mom kept it for 23+ years after that. I have it now and want to restore it to its pre-demon-child glory! I found this forum because I am a rank newbie and know I need help. Thanks in advance for your patience! And your help.
