  1. Talked to the A-7 pilot myself.... Apparently, they were testing a new "feet air conditioner" and the heat from the unit was more than they expected. And well.............
  2. And it came by Tulsa a little while ago!! Headed Northeast.
  3. In some circles the -58 was known as the 5.8, as in.......almost a 6 Kinda' like the NOTAR, sounded like a good idea, but just didn't work out. Back in the early 80's, getting caught with a camera around certain "black helicopters" was a serious offense. So needless to say, pics are very rare. I did build quite a few of them using the Revell 1/32 OH-6 back then, but they are long gone now. Jody By the way GT, some pics of the old girls would be nice!!
  4. Actually, that Loach did not get off the ground. Jody
  5. I can't help but wonder if either one of those birds were part of the group we had in Tulsa in the early '80's. I have some great memories of going to Ft. Chaffee AR to light some things up. Jody
  6. Roy, I don't know the details of your health issues but you are in my prayers. Hang tough!! Jody
  7. Try using Future to thin the paint. I use it to thin acrylics to airbrush. Then clean your airbrush with windex. I have to admit though, enamels are much easier to use. But unfortunately, I'm stuck with acrylics.
  8. Only if you want a really weird "crackly" paint job. The enamels will eat into the acrylics.
  9. WOW!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . WOW!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . WOW!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Did I mention........WOW!!! Jody
