I'm with you on this, trying to mask a continuous line with a consistent width of a human hair on a canopy seems a little risky.

I agree. Aires cockpit sets have great detail, but it seems like their engineers have never built a model using their products.

What do you think is the best way to tackle the yellow canopy 'weather seals' that are typically seen on A-7s and other jets of that era? Furball released a canopy decal set for this kit, but they are hard to find.

How long would you expect the Testor MM paints to last in their bottles? I went through a 20-year building hiatus and stored many dozen of the bottles in a box in a closet. When I got back into the hobby a few years ago, I rediscovered that box of paint. I was surprised to see that most still look pretty good. I was going to toss them but thought better of it. I was really disappointed to find that Testors discontinued that line of paint. On the plus side, I discovered AK's Real Color line and have been impressed so far on how well it sprays. Hello all - I too have a 36" Pace Peace Keeper and can vouch for it - it's great. However, because I tend to spray a lot of acrylic lacquers and enamels, I keep it in the garage as the fumes would still be too bad for spraying in the house. The biggest problem for me is my garage is not air conditioned or heated, so certain times of the year, it's pretty brutal in there. Best Regards, John

Pretty cool Dai; I like that it can spin. Any issues with it being top heavy? You may also want to check out typhoonpainting.com, they have some very nice 3mm thick plywood tiered paint racks for Tamiya sized bottles. I have a bunch of them for my Tamiya and AK Real Color bottles. Cheers, John

The Hobby Bench in Phoenix, AZ. They are a pretty big shop and sells everything from RC airplanes to crafts. They have several display cases there and would showcase local modelers' work. They displayed several plane and tank models when I was a kid back in the early 80s. The shop is still there and doing good business; when I make my way back to Phoenix, I always stop by.
