  1. Thank you Chuck! I was a 10-14 year old kid when I lacked the patience and that was 25+ years ago so if patience is still an issue then I have real problems lol! I'm just looking to pick up a hobby and this is my entry point. I appreciate your advice and encouragement!

  3. Thank you Ben, I will check that out. I did order the Tamiya tape and extra thin cement. The cement was widely referenced in the reviews of the kits I browsed. I kind of figured that tape is tape but I saw that Tamiya has all sorts of sizes and applications so I got a couple different tapes from them to try.
  4. Thank you for your help! I certainly plan on having a blast with this. I started with a revelle kit, a 1/48 B-17 that wasn't too expensive. I figure I'll start with cheaper kits and as I improve, then I'll step up. I saw that Tamiya has a line of 1/32 scale with great detail and all the reviews rave about how good the quality is.
