Thanks guys! Hajo, I'll add an assault pack when I get home... Daan, the M-14 is from the Pegasus Vietnam Marines kit, just carved off the extra stuff. Norbert, thanks! I might be "using" your refueling dio in the future Take care, Austin -

Thanks Ray! The camo is painted. I don't know of any decals for uniforms in 1/72, although they would be very welcome. And while I was taking pictures, here's some more of the CO-NG bird as well... Take care, Austin -

Thanks! Norbert, I took your advice and added some chipped plaster to enhance the gravel look. Needless to say, it looks a lot better with it. Matt, a VIP bird would be pretty cool. Not too keen on firehawks, I think the paint jobs aren't very attractive on a blackhawk. The old black and gold CBP blackhawk is a pretty sharp scheme, one I wouldn't mind doing in 1/72... I finished it this morning. Many thanks for all of your suggestions and motivation along the way, and a big thanks to Mason & Floyd for the decals! -

Awesome pics! From a quick google search, This picture of 360 showed up in DAP configuration... Take care, Austin

Yup, the RoG & Italeri UH-60 kits are the same. I'd avoid the MH-60K/HH-60G boxings as the parts are a bit different (have the upswept ESSS) for the Aussie scheme...

Thanks for the pics! They are much appreciated Take care, Austin

Okay, starting from a blank slate, I'd roll with the Italeri UH-60 (the "night raid" version has decals for an Aussie version). With a little TLC, they look awesome. If you are looking for more of an OOB type build, I'd probably stick with Hasegawa, although there is a serious shape issue with the tail rotor gear box bulge, sparse interior, and it lacks the HIRSS (which you could rob from the Italeri UH-60 or the Armycast UH-60L upgrade). Edit: This just popped into my head. You'll need the square stabilizer. That's in the Italeri kit & Armycast UH-60L upgrade as well... HTH, Aust

But could a CF-105 air drop the M113 Gavin?

New 1/72 AH-1G Huey Cobra by AZ Model
arkhunter2002 replied to ChernayaAkula's topic in Helicopter Modeling
It has the sugar scoop & there's an OH-6 next to it as well... I wonder when it'll get released... Take care, Austin -
I wish I could, but I have no idea... According to thatguy96 I was trying to highlight the exposed ESSS mounts with that pic, wondering if the antenna on the MH-60K mounted on the two sets of rings. HTH, Austin

Does anyone know what month the White Sands Hueys are supposed to be flying until? Take care, Austin -
Italeri is repopping their AH-6, very nice! Take care, Austin

Could they be modified from the type that Taiwan uses with their S-70s? It's hard to tell from the pics I've been looking at... Maybe the reason could be similar to why they use the downswept ESSS...
