  2. from what I understand I can use for ex Tamiya Acryl paint as a primer/first layer for most normal shades, and for ex humbrol black as a first layer for crome/high polished aluminium. Or am I waaaayyy of the mark (granted I regard my english as fearly good, but on some issues I may need a "re-write" to understand) Take care B) S A
  3. Hi B) This issue has problably been up plenty of times, but here goes Can I use gray enamel paint as a primer/base for alclad II ??? I have very limitid acces to normal primers. and one more thing, Can I use, Gunze MR.Surfacer as a primer ??? Cheers :(
  4. Yes, absolutely! It happend to my self-made decals when the black ink separated from the carrier film during application. Learned the hard way. Microscale Liquid Decal Film is designed for exact that purpose. won't the liquid decal film dissolve the ink ??
  5. ouch , I hate it when that happens last time I had a tailsitter, I made a tarmac basebord and once finished glued the finished modell on the tarmac, it worked like a charm. No one will ever know you screwed up and you can make a small diorama at the same time. Cheers Sten Arne

  7. Sten, you are spoiled for choice in Norway. Unless you don't like blondes that is! Elisabeth WATHNE, Miss Norway 2003. (Last years model). dæven steike det er hva jeg kaller en seriøst rådeilig dame  or to put it in plane english... SCHWING !! I've seen her live :D she's a really hot babe. There are blondes by the thousands up here. lot's of them are really nice. But I have a prefrance for black/ and redheads.. but a nice blond is also a fantastic sight.. and now the temprature is climbing over 10 + we'l start to see those lightly dressed females again, gee I wonder where the
  8. Hi :D Neat  A friend of mine is going to the UK next weekend, I'l ask if he can bring some of that airbrush cleaner stuff :) From what I gather it looks to me as Laquer thinner is what I call "Lynol" in norwegian, its a "milder" kinda Tylol and I know that stuff is really bad for you'r health. Not to mention the smell, it stinks to high hevan. Last time I used that stuff I got really dizy. Thanx a mill for your help guys :) Cheers Sten Arne (who's deftly gonna be a father some day, but some small details are still missing. like a mother for my kids )
  9. Hi Laquer thinner says nothing I'm afraid. I know I don't need to thin Alclad itself, but I need to clean my airbrush. :) From what I've gatherd I must not use white spirits. I have acrylic thinner (isopropanol) that I use for cleaning Tamiya /Acryl paint, can I use that ? Don't worry about the translation, not many here speak my language anyway Cheers :) S A
  10. Hi :) I'm about to uses Alclad for the first time (virgin spray) It says on the bottle, use celluloce thinner, grate, what the hell is that ?? I've always wonderd. is it the same as the stuff I use to thin and clean accrylics or enamels. if any scandinavians can translate to either Norwegian/Swedish/Danish I'd be more than happy. but a description in English works nicely :) What I have avaleble in my toolbox is : White Spirits (DONT EVER DRINK.. It tastes like *sensured*) isoprophylalcohol (hope I spelled it right, the stuff you have in your cars window wash jar) Acetone Thanx S
