I have been in the shipping industry for almost 38 years and never seen anything like what is happing lately with the new administration. If you want to get a good perspective on what's going on with the supply chain from China, follow the YouTube channel below for the latest, it's pretty informative. I work for a large company; we are even getting dizzy with all the craziness going on.

Yes, that is true. The cargo will find its way to the U.S. but not directly as the containers are being off loaded in other nations to be transshipped. It's going to be a mess for a while till it gets sorted out. I deal with bulk ships and already see the headaches this is going to cause.

China is not ordering ships back, doesn't work that way. The main issue shipping companies are having is that there will be a fee for Chinese owned, built or managed vessels. But as of last week, looks like that has been modified so it's not such a large hit. The prices in the container market will see the effects more so than other markets.

You did a fantastic job on it. Love how well you simulated the wood grain. Like seeing projects like this.

For not being your forte, you knocked it out of the park, the finish and weathering came out very well, nice work!!

Really nice work!

As David mentioned, I originally typed it as one word. I figured the same and made it two words to see if it would take it.

I order majority of my kits directly from China via Ebay or I am a spammer, please report this post.. Honestly, I get my kits and accessories within 2 to 3 weeks with no issues. Been happy so far, normally save anywhere from 20% to 60% than what it would cost me to order from within the U.S. Also get some good prices out of Poland with decent shipping.

I use Titebond All Purpose White Glue. Its really good for holding canopies or P.E. in place. https://a.co/d/5smfWI4

Looks great, really nice work on the weathering!

Simple green for acrylic paints works good. If you need to strip anything, then I would use oven cleaner, that seems to work the best. Testors makes a painter remover that I use to brush on small parts when I am not happy with the results.

If you can't find it at your local hobby shop, you can mail order from Amazon, Sprue Brothers or any of the major mail order suppliers.
