  1. This guy is the absolute worst in the industry, examples of him ripping off hobby members is all over the internet. As were his mug shots and the charges he faced, I’m sure he was in prison for a period of time for another matter.
  2. 3rd quarter, yes it was delayed. Hobby sales have been down so they decided to delay its release. I have three on pre-order, fully paid. This info is directly from Raymond.
  3. Very nice, love the realistic weathering.
  4. Your father is your spitting image. Nice images.
  5. Excellent build, love the pull handle technique.
  6. 1/72. Not sure why it isn’t officially announced yet.
  7. I have three of those 1/48 kits. But I’m currently planning on building in 1/32, I’d use those instructions to build a Block 25 if I had a 1/32 Thunderbirds kit to cross with the Block 50.
  8. Thanks all, I suspected it was a Block 30.
  9. Us Herc guys will defend the Herc as if it were our own child or girlfriend.
  10. Sorry, I had the details saved somewhere. https://www.airport-data.com/aircraft/87-0222.html I want to build the Tamiya F-16 with this serial when the jet was with the Ohio ANG.
  11. Looking sharp! This build will probably inspire me to build one of my three Zveda kits earlier than planned. We actually had an AC-130J fresh from the factory at a recent airshow, 2-3 years ago.
  12. Nice stuff, we used to have ARIA’s visit out base frequently in the 90s. Occasionally we’d see a NC-135, all during the Cold War.
  13. Really enjoyed reading through your build thread. I look forward to building my own Zveda Hercs. Great build! I worked on Hercs for 8 years of my 25 year career in the RCAF. I love the girl.
  14. Nothing ugly about the Herc, she is a thing of beauty.
  15. Looking good! This is going to be a stunner when complete.
  16. Kursad, Can we get some Canadian options, both CAF and RCAF? Canuck Models is no longer and Leading Edge Models does not have 1/72 CP-140 decals, he doesn’t produce much anymore at all. He only releases past decals occasionally. The out of production options are rare and when they do appear on eBay they go for an arm and a leg. I’m a 1/48 builder although this is one 1/72 kit I will build.
  17. Nope, Great Hobbies. Cheaper than Hobby Wholesale, plus they give IPMS discount. They have more in stock.
  18. The local shop (Great Hobbies), has brought in a ton of printing products, they even have a lot of it on clearance sales. I’ll likely give it a try, I’m usually not intimidated by change.
  19. l’d love to learn to 3D print, but I feel I’d fail miserably at it. The funny thing is I’m good with technology, computers, and mechanics. Served 25 years in the CAF/RCAF, now work in the medical field as a biomedical engineer, designed and built prototype medical devices from the component level up (nanotechnology PCR devices), but struggle with simple programs as easy as IKEA’s kitchen design software. :) I’m good with software, but feel intimidated by what I see others producing in 3D online. I’ve been building a Hasegawa Sea King (Canadian of course) since it was re
  20. Good news Jake! You can proceed with that decal sheet that you drew up and that we all want! There is a conversion now! https://bam-models.com/product/1-48-qf-4e-conversion-sets-for-meng/
