  1. I don’t pay any attention to Huff Post, I do listen and watch CNN and based on my medical background their experts give excellent and accurate advice. What I hear on FOX is terrifying and inaccurate. You don’t hear anything on FOX repeated on other networks.
  2. Dead on, Herd Immunity is a risky proposition.
  3. Honestly, from an educated scientific perspective, from what I have witnessed, trust any of the major players except FOX.
  4. As I mentioned, I totally sympathize and understand with those out of work. Do you think we feel comfortable working around this virus? It isn’t a great feeling and I am scared for my wife. Governments should be able help their people. Canada is doing a great job helping out business and the unemployed with funds. I didn’t reply to your previous thread to this one but I did sympathize with you. Health is first and foremost.
  5. I honestly hear you Darren and I not on opposite ends of the field as you. I don't think this will be 18 months. Theoretically, if everyone did the right thing for two weeks that would have stopped the spread. Early containment was the key.
  6. Yes, that is odd. One thing I noticed is when this post originated all his regular facebook posts ceased around the same time. Hopefully Matt's health is well. I worry for him more than my order. He is in the Boston area. As I have mentioned, Matt is usually quick responding. There is one reply here though that says he just shipped a few days ago. So maybe the opposite is occurring, maybe he is overwhelmed with orders, which is good for him in there tough times.
  7. Middle ground does exist with increased testing and PPE and simple procedures like washing hands and not touching your nose, mouth, or eyes.
  8. Like Habu, I also work in the medical field. I work in Cancer Care, research, and prototype medical device creation. My professor says I am a scientist first before a Biomedical Engineer. I've had work published in medical journals and I am currently working in collaboration with several labs working on a vaccine for covid. So I am front line with this virus. I see it in both patients and in the lab. My wife is an emergency room RN and it is terrifying to hear what she is seeing. In normal times you don't see entire departments/hospitals overwhelmed with one illness. One thing I ke
  9. Given I have dealt with him before and he responds immediately this is odd I haven’t heard from him yet. Both my items were in stock.
  10. Does anyone know if Hobbyworld USA are still open during this crisis? I emailed Matt and have not heard back. Did the original poster hear back? Typically Matt responds immediately. He doesn't have any notifications on his website and his Facebook page has not been updated since Feb. Thanks!
  11. Speed Hunter has Georgia on their latest set.
  12. Just ordered multiple sheets plus the NASA Starfighters! Awesome subjects as per your norm!
  13. Very nice work, I love work that is inspirational! Having worked on Hornets for 8 years, I feel a great attachment when I see these builds.
  14. Snowbirds have already cancelled their spring training, which I am sure will effect the entire schedule. I hear the Blue Angles have to cancel training too, as they fly less than 6 feet apart. The Thunderbirds can therefore continue with their schedule. 🙂 Just kidding folks. I have reservations for the last Blue Angels show in Canada, I am guessing it will likely be cancelled.
  15. I've long felt that we Aztec users are a stubborn bunch. You either love or hate the Aztec. I've probably been using mine since the late 80s. It finally packed it in a few years ago and I wound up buying two new Aztec brushes at Michaels, on discount for $40.00 each. Around the same time a friend's Aztec also packed it in. He also purchased a few Aztec's on clearance. He was first to experience a failure, the new brushes were leaking internally. I found a way to disassembly them and repair the leak, but obviously quality suffered along the way. Last week as I was spraying I had another leak c
  16. Wow, I saw some of these images on another website, but not all of them.
  17. So much great info in here, I decided on the Eclipse HP-CS. I Pick it up tomorrow! Curbside pick-up at the local airbrush store! I appreciate all the replies, I considered every suggestion, I may even purchase a second airbrush.
  18. And thank-you for this, the local airbrush store has these products too. I will read up on them Currently the shops are closed in Canada but they have set-up curbside pick-up.
  19. I’m leaning towards the Eclipse, done a lot of reading on it. Thanks for the reply.
  20. I did start a new kit, the GWH T-33. But I don’t have much time, I work Healthcare, as does my wife. Up at 5AM everyday, at work by 6 AM. I work nine hour days, I have every second Friday off. As this crisis picks up, I may redeploy to a critical care area, as I have CC experience. Currently I work in Cancer Care. We are only bringing in patients who can’t skip treatment at this time.
  21. I think I will finally make the plunge to a new Airbrush and make the break from my Aztec, which I have been using forever. I’m looking at the Iwata Eclipse HP-CS. I’m told I can’t go wrong with the Iwata Neo BCN. Any recommendations?
  22. I know I mentioned oil but I was referring to hobby supplies and items. The cost of shipping from USA to Canada went through the roof. It was much cheaper at one time. I can ship from Europe or Britain for 1/3 to 1/4 the cost. Although recently Sprue Brothers did find an alternative shipping method which is much cheaper.
  23. Before the crash in the dollar I wasn’t finding many deals in the US, most my hobby stuff comes from Europe.
  24. I paid $54 cents/litre at Costco recently, most stations are 59 cents/l in my area.
