Hi, love your decals! I'm hoping you'll release the A-26C in 1/72 one day. Thanks!

  2. Yes I do have the correction sheet for PV-1 Ventura decals. If you are concerned that purchasing them form a third party might not include the additional decal, well it might not. They might have some old stock that I was not able to correct. if this happens get in contact with me so I can get you the correction. If you purchase a sheet from me there will be no question it will be included. Take a look at my FB page for instruction. https://www.facebook.com/groups/101373096572153/?ref=bookmarks
  3. Okay, here is my 1/48 PV-1 Ventura with Bombshell Decals. Let me start out by saying my Decals ARE NOT CORRECT! The markings for Blonde Blitz are incomplete, the nose-art should be represented on both sides of the aircraft. I only provided the markings for the starboard side, so I had to make the nose-art decal myself. I have worked out a not so easy solution, for anyone who wants to build up this one. Message me and I will send you the port side artwork. You will have to be creative in making the markings on blank white or clear decal paper. I think the easiest way would be to print the file
  4. Here is some WIP of my Ventura with my new Bombshell decals. http://bombshelldecals.com/decals/48-BS-0016/index.shtml
  5. Awesome work, you nailed right out of the park! This the best build of this kit I have seen to date!
  6. Thank you for the nice comments, it means a lot to me as I have worked hard on the decals and the model. And as far as the kit is concerned it is not a bad build it is strait forward it has good detail with some issues but nothing major. I know some out there say it does not even look like an A-26 the shape is all wrong, raised panel lines.... and on. But the finished model looks good.
  7. I just finished this 1/48 scale Monogram A-26 C Invader. I built it strait from the box with no added frills. This is one of those kits not many people have anything good to say about it, but everyone I have ever seen finished looks fantastic. I chose to use my own Bombshell decal sheet on this project. http://bombshelldecals.com/decals/48-BS-0015/index.shtml I started with the interior painted it medium green with dark oil washes and dry brushed the highlights. The build progressed quickly once the insides were finished and I buttoned up the fuselage with only some filling on the to
  8. New release decals for 1/48 A-26s available now. As usual Cartograf printed them and I think they look awesome, but I will get the samples out to all of the reviewers in the next few day so they can give you an objective look at them. It was a slow last year for me as far as decal design work as my day job consumed most of my time. I hope to have a good year in respects to putting out new decal sheets. I would like to thank all the folks that have purchased decals from any of the distributors or myself if it was not for you I would not be able to continue on with this endeavor. http://bombs
  9. Thank you for the nice comment and I can't remember the make on the base I bought it years ago on sale.
  10. Here is the ageing Monogram 1/48 scale kit. I built mine strait from the box using my own brand of decals that I have been designing http://bombshelldecals.com/decals/48-BS-0010/index.shtml ). I was always impressed when I have seen these kits finished over the years. I found it hard to maintain motivation and momentum on this build because of the kits pitfalls. The kit has a few hurtles to get past first was the engine nacelles that did not want to fit right. The wing joints need special attention to get them just right. I painted the model with Model Master enamels, weathered it with oils an
  11. I do not have a release date for the 1/72 sheets, but keep your eyes out for the announcement. Thank you for all of the nice comment on the sheets these nearly broke me trying to get them finished.
  12. I do plan on releasing both P-47 sheets in 1/72.
  13. Thank you for the wonderful response to these decals. What kind of posters are you talking about, maybe something like a color profile with a pin-up or just a pin-up? Explain your thoughts a little more for me. I get a lot of requests to do certain subjects, but no one ever provides the research. If you ever want me to consider doing any subject you like in the future please provide me with as much information as possible colors, unit, sn#, and so on, if you have photos from all views even better.
  14. So many planes not enough time. Last year I managed to create 12 decal sheets, I have a calendar mapped out for this year and B-26s are not on it. I will tell I do plan on doing some more. It is difficult for me to increase production out put since I have a day job and I still would like to build a model or two. Here are two I am working on right now.
