  1. Here is my recently completed Airfix 1/48 Sea King HAS.1 (Kit number A11006) I couldn't find a blue-grey that resembled the photographs of the aircraft that I’d seen (to me anyway). I subsequently mixed the blue/grey hue with a combination of Tamiya XF-18 Medium Blue and XF-17 Sea Blue which seemed, again to me, to be a decent match. 6. I bought this kit a Fly:1/32 Wessex (32010) in September 2022 and from the opening of the box and checking the content I should have realised the kit was going to be a problem. On inspection of the parts I discovered lots of the resin parts were broken (actually destroyed) and some parts missing. I contacted the retailer who in turn contacted Fly for replacements which duly arrived in couple of weeks. So on with the build….I spent a very long time detailing the interior which, unfortunately led me down the proverbial rabbit hole, so much so in fact that I put the kit back on the shelf
  7. I replaced the cables in the kit for a smaller diameter and scratch built the box on top of the panniers. Painted with Tamiya XF's and weathered with pastels

  11. Here is my Italeri 1/9 Triumph 3HW which was built pretty much oob with the exception of replacing the kit's wiring with a smaller gauge wire and scratch building the box on top of the panniers. I kept the weathering to a minimum on this one. Painted with Tamiya XF's and weathered with pastels.
  12. Many thanks Greg, I thoroughly enjoyed the build and can highly recommend it (although the instructions can be a little `vague!!) Cheers Kevin
