I subsequently mixed the blue/grey hue with a combination of Tamiya XF-18 Medium Blue and XF-17 Sea Blue which seemed, again to me, to be a decent match. I replaced the cables in the kit for a smaller diameter and scratch built the box on top of the panniers. Painted with Tamiya XF's and weathered with pastels

Here is my Italeri 1/9 Triumph 3HW which was built pretty much oob with the exception of replacing the kit's wiring with a smaller gauge wire and scratch building the box on top of the panniers. I kept the weathering to a minimum on this one. Painted with Tamiya XF's and weathered with pastels.
