  4. Hello Skuki I do not have this book but I have the one on the CH-46 however, I had this small book in hands there are nice pics inside, interior, exterior, some panels, also some different camo possibilities. the book was made from a helicopter modeler who scratchbuild a very nice CH-53E on a other way, if you know where to find them (google search will not be enougth) you can also find nice pics on the web, and in greater dimension as in the book) but I think you will not be disapointed Norbert
  5. No update yet, we had a soccer match yesterday in Germany... thank you for your support on the rivet question. On the top of the model, there are only a few rivets to add, so I will do them with paint, my last tries were not too bad. There are also large areas without rivets (most panels are in fiber-glass) so I prefer not to use foil. On the bottom, I have a sharp edge all around and it is full with rivets. I will use Pierre's method with foil as I know how to stop the foil area. Otherwise, I use foil for pannels which are in overthickness. Yesterday, during the match, I modified my punc

A small update on the pilot figure I modified the figure, reshaped the helmet. the noriginal helmet border was not too bad still a lot of sanding and filling to do Yes, it goes under the roof !!! the basical posture is made. All details are to add yet, I think I have the right base A propos de base, did somebody have some pics of french navy helicopter pilot ? have a nice week Norbert
  9. I love it too Pierre, I just watch it on my 94 cm HD screen and it is HUGE (just imagine the static discharger 4 cm long on my screen, I enjoy every detail) Norbert
  10. A new update here The sponsons are in place I tried this time to make rivets with Humbrol gold and a nail So far, I'm not so happy with that Then I test fit one of the pilots : he's head is higher than the roof :) Ouille Ouille ouille (in french) what's wrong, lets check with a 1/35 gunner from tamiya It seems that there are a few millimeters too much :( OK, I check my references : helmet is realy too big (and false) I will cut the pilot in two to get it smaller I will try also to remove something to the seat Will see if it is OK after that Think at me, I get st

  18. Thank you FrereLeo If I see correctly, the tube contains a kind of lead imitation and is for making outlines So I feel it is a paint used by the guys who paint glass to separate the colours. Is it so ? (better have to make a Google serch Norbert) Norbert
  19. Yes Pierre, it looks so amazing, I second the question, it will help to my build Norbert
  20. Hello Marko I'm glad to find somebody who used the nutter as it is quite expensive, here is a picture of what I want to reach. The rule is to get the scale, if I zoom in so 1 mm is 1 cm on my screen, the rivets appear to be between 0.4 and 0.5 mm Can the nutter do it ? If you have any pics from your work, I will appreciate it soooooooooo much. ;) Thank you also Papasmurf, I will try it, but I'm anxious to know if I can realy get something with it and I have big surfaces to cover Norbert
  21. So far no, I tried to put small dots of white glue with a nail point but I reach the right size only from time to time (it's too thick) I usualy be double too big  :D I'm looking for an other product, should be sticky with the hability to get very small dots But well, I'm not the first one to try something... Punch and Die is far too big Norbert
