I have a Tamiya 1/48 F4U-1D kit and want to build and convert it to an FAA Mk II. I was looking at Don Sheppards' plane in the green-gray camouflage scheme. The only color I can't figure is the bottom color. I have heard it was sky and also it may have been a U.S. light gray.Are there any actual wartime color photographs of it? Thank you-
