What's the Cat 2 forum and where is it? Cheers.
  2. Hi Don How are you doing? That's a really great first try. I have been thinking of plunging in myself, but know that it probably won't turn out as nice as yours, probably flat and 2D, unlike yours which looks lifelike and 3D. Looking forward to your next project  Sunny

Nice work Clave! If you like, I would be happy to announce your new series of profile prints in the New Prints section of eHangar.com. Just register yourself and submit your news item to me ( similar to what you did here) by using the Submit News link. It should be able to send a few more prospective collectors your way
  4. In that case, Andy, you have a rare, natural talent for art, and you'll be the envy of many  Keep at it, and I look forward to seeing your future projects!
  5. Glad you found us finally! :) And they didn't tell you?!!! Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! Actually, no. eHangar.com is pure aviation art. However, we have just opened a new forum section where members can showcase their other, non-aviation art-related art pieces, so cars and other subjects go in there.
  6. Have you made any of your artwork into prints yet? If so, then you can add them to eHangar.com's Aviation Art Directory where we list all aviation art prints. This is a massive, searchable database of aviation art of all mediums and genres. See you over there!

    Hello

Clave, nice profiles! Keep up the good work!
  8. Pete, thank you for the referral to eHangar.com (please note tho' that its spelt with an E, not A ) Andy, you've got some serious talent there. That B-24 drawing is outstanding! You say that you're new to aviation art, but how long have you been drawing (other subjects)? Cheers Sunny
  9. Mark, very nice work indeed! I agree about the blurred prop effect, quite unique among profile illustrations. Looking forward to seeing more.
  10. brahio, thank you for the referral and link to eHangar.com :) dbec, artist Rick Herter did a commemorative piece on the F-14's retirement recently. His poster print had the squadron badges of every unit that flew the Tomcat surrounding a main painting of the aircraft in flight. Not sure if this is the one you were looking for, but its worth looking at too. Anytime Baby by Rick Herter eHangar.com's Aviation Art Directory has over 20 other prints depicting the F-14 Tomcat; I'm sure you'll be able to find something that'll suit your taste and budget! ;)
  11. Pardon the ignorance, but what does ACIG stand for?
  12. When you say "given the pencil treatment", did you mean you drew it, or applied a software filter to a photo in an image editing program like Photoshop? Either way, its a nice image, and even more impressive if you had drawn it
  13. Sad to hear of this ace's passing. Great profiles, Stephen, nothing primitive about them. Did Fred Christensen sign these profiles, and are they available as prints for sale? I believe he signed very few aviation art prints in his lifetime, unlike some others in Zemke's Wolfpack. I only know of one print he signed, Thunder in the Sky, by George Guzzi. Click on the link to view it over at eHangar.com, where you can also read his full profile.
  14. If you or any aviation artist here would like to know how to get prints of your art work printed for free and for sale, find out how at the Selling Your Artwork section on eHangar.com.

tuomas, if you have these images already uploaded to a website, then just click the Insert Image (icon of tree) and type in the url to the image. Alternatively, place the url to the image between the markup codes http://' target="_blank">. These markup codes are quite universal among most forum software like phpbb and invision boards. Click on Preview to check it is showing properly before posting it. Hope this helps. Nice drawings, btw
