  6. Hi guys from Italy, glad to be back on ARC after a while. My previous Su-35S (SU-35S Great Wall Hobby 1/48 (Flanker E) - Jet Modeling - ARC Discussion Forums (arcforums.com)) really worn me out, so I decided to return to an old love of mine, being this love born over 45 years ago when I clumsily built an old Matchbox kit in 1/72. I thought I would do a simpler and faster job. And so it was, but with a lot to say The P-47 Thunderbolt is definitely an overrepresented aircraft in every scale. Maybe for the fascination it arouses when you look at it, maybe for the relevance it had during the c
  7. ok, this is my very second time here. I was not aware of that you are telling me. My fault of course. This said, can I solve this issue or an administrator must inthervene to switch my post in the right section?
  8. I apologize. I thought that since it is a finished model I could publish it here, only adding some photos of the WIP. If not, it can be moved by an administrator to the right place.

  11. 😄😄 I think you are in excellent company when it comes to models to build that far exceed the space available to display them.!!!! I'm one of those!
  12. Hi Curt, let me start by saying that after long and thoughtful doubts on how to "uniform" my collection (don't laugh at this) I have come to the conclusion of definitively adopting the 1/32 scale for the WW2 planes, the 1/48 scale for the modern jets as well as helicopters. As you may have already understood, I like large models, where the details can be enhanced and enhanced again. That said, my two P-47s will be in 1/32 scale and the two boxes in my hands are from Trumpeter.. I am the first Tamiya fan but, at least here in Europe (I am writing to you from Italy) the only presence of this
  13. Hi Curt. You are really too kind. However I really appreciate your opinion. There is absolutely no reason why your Flanker could be any different or worse than mine. I myself have taken a lot of inspiration from many masters. I will definitely post again. And if you have any questions about the kit, I'm here (across the ocean, but featured here on ARC...😄). Now I'm going back to "WW2" with a couple of P-47s, a Razorback and a Bubbletop. Let's see how many months it will take me. Dan
  14. Thanks Whiskey. I really appreciate your positive opinion! Dan
  15. Hi everyone. For my first time on ARC I thought I would present my latest creation: the Su-35S (Flanker E) - 1/48 G.W.H. A very long and complex creation, also aggravated by a defect in the molding of the two semi-fuselases which I had to remedy with a lot of patience. The finishing of the engines as well as the missile/bomb pylons deserve a separate discussion since the time they took away is practically equivalent to that required for everything else. It's the first jet I've built after 30 years, I hope it meets your approval. A greeting. Daniel
