Hi. I am in the process of building a MIG-29 9-13, Zvezda brand in 1/72 scale and I have used the Quinta studio kit for its cockpit. Although I have this build "sleeping" for now... The problem with these "decals" is that they do not have a homogeneous color but are made up of tiny colored dots that make the eye capture a certain color so when using macro on small parts it is revealed but at first glance it looks more or less fine. I leave you at the beginning a photo of the front panel of a real airplane so you can see the color, although the photo is somewhat darkened.

Reproducing the paintwork of both the F-35 and the F-22 is a challenge with no chance of success. It has a metallic sheen that makes it very difficult to reproduce. Something tells me that it is a grey that is close to or exactly the same as the F-35's tone, although it does not reproduce that metallic reflection. Andrés.

Hi. Today I fitted the reflective glass of the sight and closed the cockpit. The pieces that make up the canopy have fitted acceptably well, but I have to clarify.... The pilot's backrest has fitted perfectly in the corresponding place on the canopy. However, there was a problem with the canopy. In step 22 of the assembly instructions it is indicated that if you want to show the model with the canopy open, you must use piece Y6 (for the 1st paint schemes, which is mine "18 blue") and in step 23 it is indicated that if you want to leave the canopy cl

Thanks !!! Andrés. -
Hi all. I'm going to start building this kit, to which I'm going to add, at least, the exhaust pipes, which I already have. I don't know if the tires might need replacing, I also bought the seat with the harnesses along with the kit and the exhausts. For now I've started with the exhaust pipes, the propeller and the inner landing gear covers. It's not much, but it's a start. The propeller, as always, has received a sanding session to fine-tune the thickness of the blades. The Cockpit. Th

Thanks !!! Certainly Bandai kits are a lot of fun to build , and the STAR WARS ships and vehicles are very well suited to represent dirt and wear, which for me is a lot of fun. Thanks Niels !!! Andrés.

Oh, well I thought the B-17 actually had the same name as Olds' planes. Andrés.

Very nice !!! And curiously, the B-17 has the same name as the planes of then Lieutenant Robin Olds. Andrés.

Hi. This is another of my favorite STAR WARS models from Bandai. I have to say that they have a couple of 3D printed Imperial trooper figures but I don't know where I put the photos with them in position so I will soon take new photos to give an image of what the model really looks like. Painted with Vallejo MC for the cockpit and Tamiya on the outside. The base is the one provided by the kit to which I added static grass and some leaves to give it a bit more atmosphere. Making a forest terrain like the one in "Return of the Jedi", although it was my wish, far exceeds my mo

Hi. This model, along with the AT-ST, are two of my favorites from my collection of STAR WARS that I continue to make with Bandai kits. It's a shame that not all the models are in the same scale, but I have to admit that the AT-AT at 1/72 scale and even more so at 1/48 would be too big a model and the AT-ST at 1/72 scale and even more so at 1/144 would be ridiculously small with hardly any possibility of detailing its surface. Although Bandai has shown to have the ability to recreate details, and with enormous quality. The exterior was painted with Tamiya, but the coc

Hi. This is another model from my STAR WARS collection that I am making with the magnificent Bandai kits. The interior is painted with Vallejo Model Color range colors and the exterior with Tamiya. Andrés.

Hi. I finished building this magnificent kit a while ago and I can't stop recommending it. I hope you like it. Andrés.
