For example, if I choose a light blue, it automatically goes to white. But if I choose a color that is darker, it automatically goes to black. *sigh*

For some reason or another, Paint Shop Pro will not let me choose a color. Everytime I try to click on one, it automatically chooses black or white. Its like its locked or something. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I've been looking in the help section of PSP and online but to no avail, I also tried to upload a photo to give some more insight to my problem but that didn't work.

I did end up mixing in black and it seems to have worked pretty well. Thanks!

I've got a Tamiya Corsair that I'm building, but the store only had Model Master's dark blue paint. Its much too bright from what I can tell. I'm building a Black Sheep Corsair and was wondering if anyone had any idea what color I should mix the dark blue with to get something closer to Navy Blue. I'm sorry, I tried to get Navy Blue but they didn't have it. Thanks to anyone who provides me some help.

I am absolutely in awe of your work. I just finished the Academy Su-27 and clearly I need to have more patience if I want my kits to rival that of ones like yours.

Thank you. Its actually a what-if. I didn't really feel like painting the aircraft the same blues that most flankers have and thought it'd be interesting to experement a bit with my own camo theme.

Yeah I'm not too proficient with my digital camera... Maybe I'll take a few more this afternoon and see if I can do a bit better.

Just thought I post a couple of photos of the Flanker I finished yesterday. It was the first time I used and airbrush so hopefully I'll get a bit better. I also used foil on the engine area as a sort of exploration into the technique. I had alot of trouble with the decals for some reason and overall, I didn't really put too much time into the kit as I'm a graduating senior and time is pretty short with finals coming up and getting my USMC-Air packet together. I was wondering if anyone on the board knew of any place where I could possibly buy some very large aircraft profile prints, something between 48" and 60" long. If someone could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it very much, I've been searching on google and other search engines for close to 2 hours in the past couple days and have come up with nothing.

I'm nearly finished with my Academy 1:48 Su-27, I've got the glosscoat and decals and then a wash to go. I was wondering however, I've got a few parts on it that I've done the aluminum foiling technique, my question is would it be ok to spray Model Master Acrylic Gloss Coat over the entire model, including the aluminum parts to seal everything in?
