  1. Wow! Thank you all for the great and helpful comments! I just purchased my first Quinta set for the 1/48th F-14B Bombcat, so looking forward to using it! Mike
  2. Steve & Aaron, thanks so much for the comments- much appreciated. Will be mindful of paint mismatches. Best, Mike
  3. Would appreciate the forum members input on the various currently available cockpit detail decals from Quinta, Eduard (SPACE?), Red Fox and Kelik sets, and even the cockpit sets from Zoukei Mura (and any others that anyone can comment on)... ...I know some resin/3D detailers produce excellent 3D cockpit sets, but mostly interested in comments on the the pre-printed decal (1/48th scale in particular) sets offered by these and various other companies. ....looking for thoughts on accuracy & appearance.....ease of use, and experiences using each......and recommendations
  4. Looking for info on some rare and unique S-3 programs/airframes; found very minimal info from https://www.airvectors.net/avs3.html; would be interested in learning more and any images if possible. My Google searches have not been very fruitful. 1. Gray Wolf Viking The "Gray Wolf Viking" carried a Norden AN/APG-76 radar in a pod in an underwing pylon. The AN/APG-76 was designed for the "Phantom 2000" upgrade for Israeli Air Force McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom fighters, which never went beyond the demonstration phase. 9. Recall EH-60A Quick Fix helos, and 'maybe' the EH-60L Advanced Quick Fix years ago.....do they still exist? ...I watch FligthRadar24 around us in the DC area, and see EH-60's on the radar out of NAS Pax River. So, are the EH-60's Quick Fix still in service? What are the EH-60's out of Pax River? Appreciate thoughts. Thanks, Mike
  10. Doug, Thanks! Appreciate your efforts and anything you can share. ...again, can contact Bob Sanchez at TwoBobs or Kursad at Caracal to see if they're interested. Not a current project of mine but as with all projects, but one I'm very much interested in making, and planning and gathering of research material takes time... Thanks you again! Best, Mike
