  1. thanks guys! And yes Whiskey, same here. I did not like the yellow Naboo N1. But this "pimp my ride" version looks awesome 🙂
  2. Hello The new Revell 1/24 N1 Starfighter from the Star Wars The Mandalorian TV Show. The kit is quite fun and simple to build. Details are OK but there is some room for improvement. I scratch built some details in the open panels and engines. Paints are Mr Hobby SM01 super fine silver and Chrome from Greenstuff. Weathering with oils and waterpencil. This is the way!
  3. Thank you guys! Utley, the missiles are from the box
  4. Hello! So! finally finished! After an almost 3 years stand by. I used some aftermarket: - Eduard photoetch - Master barrels - Legend bays and folding sets - Werner wings stencil decals - Reedoak figure paints are Mr color laquer c308 and mrp 105. Weathering with oils, mostly mig oilbrushers. Again I felt

  7. Hello A small and quick build from the box with the 3D Blitz Model kit, using FFSMC decal sheet for french air force. Most of the job was to deal with ultra smooth paint and decals. I used the great Mr Hobbyè GX112 gloss varnish, then polished with ultra fin abrasives sponges, micromesh and Tamiya compound. A very light coat of GX114 satin coat at the end, to cut the "toy like" effect. Cheers Romain
  8. Thanks! I used the Eduard resin set. But you have plastic parts in the kit.
  9. Thanks! and yes, it is the biggest in my display case too. Huge model. Not that wide, but very long. 🙂
  10. Weathering is done with oil paints:
  11. some scratch on the tanks and paiting the Videoaviation MK117 bombs: I tried new things with the painting process For the light green FS 34102, I used gunze H303 as basis, but found it to light, so I added drops of H302. Highlights are done with a mix of H303 and H74 Sky, while shadows are made with H303+XF11 and clear green. Same process for the dark green FS34092. But the base color is not H309 as required by Gunze. I found this color to tend towards something like olive drab.
  12. Some WIP pictures. Black box Cockpit: Fisher Wheels: Aires gearbays: Gun bay is made from scratch, with some Eduard PE parts. The gun is made using Verlinden body and Master barrels. Air intakes were heavily improved: GT resin nose: Scoops: Kit exhaust was improved:
  13. Hello! This build from 2019 was inspired while reading the special issue of French magazine “Le Fana de l’Aviation” about the F-105 Thunderchief. A story in particular caught my attention. While on a bombing mission on the 23rd august of 1967, 1st Lt Dave Walrop shot down a first Mig-17 with his gun, before climbing to avoid debris and get back in formation. While coming back from the clouds flying on his back, Waldrop saw another Mig and shot it down too. When he was debriefing at the base, he got a phone call from… Robin Olds himself. From his F-4, this famous pilot
  14. Hello. Some pics of my two Arma Hobby 1/72nd scale Mustangs. I really enjoyed building this kit. Very detailled. Clearprop masks for exterior and interior is a great help. Wings panels were filled with black CA glue. Fuselage are riveted. P-51C "Evalina" has some photoetch parts, resin wheels, bazooka and exhausts from Eduard. Painted with Mr hobby Sm01 super fine silver for fuselage, and Tamiya LP11+38 for the wings. The olive drab F-6C is from the box. Painted with Mr hobby H52, then reworked with dark green, yellow and brown. Decals from the
  15. Hello At the beginning I was not very motivated by the build because the comparison with the armastangs I started in parallel was not fair... But well... At the end I am pretty happy with this rather simple build. I am not used to Braille scale so to say... But I enjoyed it. Mostly from the box with 3d printed hvar, arma mustang plastic wheels, kit decals. Painted in Tamiya Lp11/lp38 for the wings. Mr hobby super chrome silver on the fuselage, later coated with satin gx114 varnish to break the metallic shine. Oil weathering. Oh and I had to remove the
