I will also buy a sheet of the 72nd scale just to celebrate/support you making it. -
Looking for 1/72 D-Day invasion stripes decals for P-51 (B and/or D)
Crease replied to Crease's topic in General Discussion
I will do that also. I found some decals so I will do both and figure out which method I prefer. -
A new LOW for a "modelling" discussion forum, IMHO

Otherwise intelligent people, demonstrating their idiocy under the banner of politics. -

Not sure if this would help but I have an old sheet out of a 1/72 AMT F-14A kit that has VF-142 on it. There is a little clear "stainage" on some of it. The cockpit decals are gone. Also has VF-1 decals on the sheet. You're welcome to it if you want it.

Just received my second order from xfree-hobby (three 1/72 kits). Ebay order placed on 3/25 and received at my Indiana doorstep on 4/09. Packaging was excellent with no damage. They are now 2 for 2 in my experience.

1/72 TOW missile launcher for Gulf War/Desert Storm AH-1W Cobra
Crease replied to Crease's topic in Helicopter Modeling
Good to know...and I'll prob score one of these kits for the TOWs. Thank you! -
I have always been very wary of buying anything on Ebay from China but decided to try it as the prices were excellent (XFree Hobby). I ordered a 1/72 kit and an accessory on 2/25 and received them on 3/07. Half of that time the shipment was sitting in New York City customs. I made my second order (3 kits) on 3/25 and they shipped on 3/30, but are still in Shanghai, as far as I can tell, per the tracking. Their communication was excellent as well.

Hasegawa 1/48 F/A-18C VMFA-232 Red Devils Desert Storm Build
Crease replied to Drew T.'s topic in Critique Corner
Beautiful! I'm collecting C and D Hornets for Desert Storm configurations, a few 1/48, but mostly 1/72. Will lean heavy on the Kaneohe squadrons as I worked (GCI) with them for three years and even accompanied 232 on their Iwakuni WESTPAC shortly after ODS. Absolutely loved running across this post as I'm researching Vertical Ejector Racks for the aforementioned purpose. Very informative! -

Incredible modeling! I'm a newbie but trying to hone the skills to get to the next level. I've built an Arma Hobby 1/72 stash, including waiting on this particular model to arrive from Poland, with the new Curtis H-75, P-39, and Yak-1b. I'm currently working on the P-51B and F4F-4. I'm VERY impressed with Arma's detail and quality. Looking forward to seeing your next one!
