  1. ReccePhreak.......I have this kit on order, and won't be using the recce parts, the only snag is it's via surface mail, so could be a while, but you're welcome to the parts B) Paul
  2. Wow Ruben, a lovely looking Crusty there..........must start mine (Zvezda with 26 Aviogenex decals) Paul in NZ
  3. One from the recent Warbirds Over Wanaka Met moeggo (Dave J) from Wingnuts too!
  4. Hi Haven't found anything specific, but some sources are : 4+ books on various planes which have a photo of each carried by that plane, and plans. Colurs shown, bot sure about stencils though decals that have stencils, Begemot are good in this regard (and they have colour advice too) verlinden Lock Ons have close up pictures of ordnance, you can read (in cyrillic!) the stencil sometimes odd other books, Concord Su-25 etc walkaround sites such as Airwar.ru have odds and sods too HTH Paul in NZ
  5. I'll second that. Richard is great to deal with. Paul in NZ
  6. You are wonderfully skilled! Paul in NZ
  7. Pete I've said this before, and I'll say it again........used the Gunze Mr Mark products. If they can get a DML decal down onto a FLAT painted Zimmerit surface without any silvering, they should work for you! Caveat........try on a small section if you can first! I'd hate you to mess up something as rare as those tiles! The blue one you use before sliding on the decal, it's milky but dries clear. I think it's a kind of decal glue, so sounds ideal for your situation. The green one you apply later when dry, to get rid of (any) silvering. I hardly ever need the latter. This stuff works on Aca
  8. Lovely again Mike (all your armour builds are first class) A question..........can this be built as a "standard" Matilda? (or did the Hedgehog tooling affect the moulds) There's one in my LHS, and I feel a Crete diorama coming on..............this would be a nice (cheap) kit to try it with. No sense in using the Tamiya for a first dio! Cheers Paul in NZ
  9. Lovely job Lucas. I started one of those, but never finished.......wasn't a good kit even 20 years ago! Love the little touched like the RBF tags........and in 1/144! I'm too chicken to do them in 1/48! Cheers Paul in NZ
  10. Tomasz.........that is just superb! :( How did you do the engine nacelles and wings though? Cheers Paul in NZ
  11. Hi Would like to covert this to the red racer possibly, but I seem to have lost both wings! Anyone have any to spare? Would consider glued ones too. Ask for trades.........I may have what you want! Cheers paul in NZ
  12. Alas no.........there are a few shots on airliners.net etc, but no cockpits Syrian one would be nice! Sorry mate Paul in NZ
  13. Wonderful job on this Malcolm.........it's a stinker in many aras, but yours looks fantastic Paul in NZ
  14. Hi All Soom after posting my tale of woe (above), Dave (moeggo) from WNW contacted me........the order was lost in the overload they experienced in the first 3 days of the new kits being available. Anyhow, now I have a super DV on my desk. Plus extra engine sprue Dave threw in. This is a fantastic kit........even better than my SE5a, but WNW are a class act too. Thanks Dave, much appreciated. Everything you've seen or read about this kit is true....can't wait to start her. Paul in NZ
