  2. My latest edition to the 90th (tactical) Fighter Squadron line... F-22A Raptor out of Elmendorf AFB, AK
  3. I guess I can give you a peak...
  4. GW and Kittyhawk will do a deck cross over at Pearl Harbor.. so CVW-5 will be crossing over at Pearl ... don't know if the Kittyhawk will be bringing any jets with it before pulling into Pudget Sound for deactivation.
  5. After a busy hectic beginning of the year I finally found sometime to do a little modelling... Italeri EA-18G started taking shape... and since Fighter Squadron 111 has come back to life as an aggressor squadron .. I figured why not bring the Wolfpack back.. VAQ-1 ....
  6. Awesome F-16CJ Wild Weasel ... Tony! The Weasel's are Wild...
  7. If looking at Group Builds List... the duration is in the description of the group build.
  8. One little pet peeve of mine is this... unless the jet is part of the demo team - I don't consider it a show bird, I call it the flagship jet or commanders jet. I dont know who came up with the show bird term as in my experience I rarely seen a jet besides the Demo teams jet or a tiger meet jet spruced up just to be on Show.
  9. THE WEASELS ARE WILD!! Those are awesome F-4s....Strike Eagle
  10. Sounds good to me... remember we got until July 1st.
  11. As Rhino stated earlier the only F-4G with a sharkmouth flew out of Incirlik. It did actually fly with the multi band
  12. The request comes as Boeing faces new challenges as a result of an admission last week by the former No.2 Air Force acquisition officer, Darleen A. Druyun, that she had favored Boeing in granting billions of dollars in contracts in an effort to get jobs for herself and her family. I stand half corrected... besides the Seattle times... a new book came out .. Boeing Vs Airbus... very good stuff...!!!!
  13. Before all of you start throwing this LAWSUIT out into the frey ... theres this little thing last year that people have forgetton... a former BOEING CEO and a former aquisition officer for the US Air Force have been sent to prison over the Boeing KC-767 program. The acquisition officer had steered and made the numbers for Boeing very appealing to the US Air Force in exchange one of her kids gets a job at Boeing - this brought red flags up as the Boeing offer was a sure deal and brought it to a standstill! I for one am a Boeing fan... but I love all planes in general. So before you all star
  14. If you get the chance.. watch the history/discovery channel episode of the Blue Angels.. the one where they went to Russia... during an interview back in Pensacola with the lead solo .. he's a F-14 guy... behind his desk on the credenza is a wooden model display of 6 F-14s in Blue Angel markings...
  15. That Hunter F-4G is very nice... I dont see anything wrong with the finish.... Looking forward to when you get the E model finished! The Weasels are Wild!
  16. The hunter killer F-4G/F-4E concept was first formed by the 90TFS (the 90th flew a mixtured of Es and Gs but would later just have Gs) and later on adopted by Spang and George.
  17. I thinks its a valied loadout... I just get perterbed by the nitpicky "experts"... build the model as you want.. if it looks good to you.. do it!
  18. You still looking to swap? Because I have most of the F-4G sheets...!
  19. Pete, If the model was less than 20% started I would accept it into the build. But otherwise we look forward to keeping track of your A-6 progress.
  20. Looks like a cross between a AGM-78 and AGM-88 .... but ironically enough an F-4G gets to launch it. This ARM is being developed by the Navy... Anyone noticed the subtle "Tiger" stripes on this QF-4G?
  21. The latest 1/48 Hasagawa F-4G with "37TFW" markings has the commanders gaggle markings of all three F-4E/G weasel squadrons. If you look up 562nd you should be able to see the badge. Not much has changed...the 562nd TFS
  22. As Jeff can attest theres alot more to dragging a fighter across the pond then a KC-10... During Desert Shield.. KC-10s would drag six jets across the Atlantic.. but they were met by KC-135s out of Bangor... Spain... and somewhere over the Med... yep lots of coordination...
