  1. LOL thats not KP - thats ancient Plasticart Su-7. Nice black bombs is a dead giveaway. Great collection, dude.
  2. You dont want to do that. Future darkens the paint by about half-a-shade. If you apply future in just one (two, three) spots - it will be very visible. Dark spots around your decals will stand out. Ask me how I know this Either cover all your model in Future - or forget the Future and try your luck with MicroSet/MicroSol combo alone.
  3. It doesnt have to be shiny to be smooth enough for the decals to stick properly. Few coats of future, fully dry and cured is good enough surface to apply decals using MicroSet/MicroSol combo. did you try to brush on future with high quality wide brush?
  4. Depends on what colors you use and how dark you want it. Lets say half of teaspoon of powder for half of tablespoon of water. Add either to taste.
  5. Thank you guys. At least i can mask the bloody thing.
  6. Iwata manuals and some A/B gurus insist that you should not disassemble the a/b after each use. I run appropriate solvent thru until its clear, wipe off all visible paint from the exterior and leave it alone. Once every few months I field-strip it and wipe the needle. I never touch the air valve.
  7. How can I polish Alclad Aluminum? I dont need mirror-like finish, but a bit shiny would be nice? Is it safe to mask with regular Tamiya tape? TIA
  8. Cant go wrong with pastel good ole chalks. Grind them up on a piece of sanding paper, add water and soap. Good thing is, its completely water soluble. If you mess it up you can just wash it off.
