  1. After scanning the photo and enlarging it i have to agree with you. Thanks for all the input guys Regards....Neil
  2. Thanks for that Ian,i suppose it could be the dark green, the aircrft in question is in bright sunlight with clear cloudless sky and at height, the contrast between the nose cone and the rest of the airfrme is very obvious, will send you a scan if you give me your email address. Thanks again....Neil
  3. If I remember correctly, the canopy rails on the mkvi spit were deleted. As it was a high altitude interceptor the canopy was installed by the ground crew.....Neil
  4. Hello Kevan,if you send me your email address i will scan the picture and send it to you, dont want to post it on here for obvious reasons....Neil
  5. Hello Guys,I have a book called F5 Warplane for the world,by Robbie Shaw (Airlife),in it is a picture of a Canadian Cf-5a from 434 Squadron flying in with another in the back ground. They are both in the Grey Green light grey colour scheme ,the aircraft in the background is configured with a recon nose and the aircraft in the forground is a standard aircraft. Now both aircraft appear to have black noses. This is the only photo i can find with Canadian Cf-5's with black noses,so was wondering why this would be.Was thinking of makeing a 1/72 scale model in this configuration but but more pics just
  6. Thanks Rick,am sticking to 1/72 scale thanks,i couldnt aford the 1/48 kits,lol.
  7. Thanks Guys, thats a great help.I havnt seen that photo before, and i didnt know that the 1N had an afterburner with a split jet pipe.Thankyou both very much.....Neil ;)
  8. Hiya guys n gals,i have several Emhar Demon kits in me stash i am thinking about back dating one of them to the earlier F3H-1.Looking at my referances the main differances are the wings, lack of afterburner and a differant canopy.Have i missed anything,is the fuselage the same in both versions. Also, has anyone made the Airmodel f3h-2 vac form kit,.I have seen a grainy pic of one unmade and it looks more like the prototype XF3H-1,what are your thoughts on it.Many thanks guys,regards......Neil
  9. aircommando i quite right,it is also upside down as shown in the pic in the link below http://www.grubby-fingers-aircraft-illustr...-449_05_med.jpg regards.......Neil

    D.H Dove

That is fantastic,i like that very much.In the 1980's we had a dove at BAe Hatfield,G-AREA.We were tasked with pulling it to bits so it could be trucked to a museum.I also remember a fly past when the RAF retired its Doves/Devons.Happy days :D

    RF-18

So does this mean a cross kit conversion between the Italieri rf-18 and a f/a-18 d is posible or is the camera palette a differant shape.
