Maybe a broke down jet...

It would be great if you guys attending some of those airshows could post pics or media stuff over here.

Crossing had just started, they're bound for Scotland.
-
Thanks Patrick, I didn't know they were already released. I'll get the second box, with LAPE markings.
-
Worth it. You can also wait another 30 years for a third try (PAF's last pond crossing was in 1986 IIRC). ;)

Here's the map. And the new tail art.

Hi Mike, A relatively unknown, but yet very interesting aircraft, with a great international career. Fought on both sides during WW2, as well as flying with neutral countries. You should have a look toward Kora, who have a collection of conversion/decals sets. I've in sight the Vichy version, and I'd like to build also a whif wearing Austrian markings using this sheet.

This is indeed THE reference document concerning French military colors. And useful also for details painting, cockpit and else. but you really have to be a professionnal to fully understand it. And then, it's a basis for paint makers, with a margin for errors. But anyway, look at a Mirage 2000 at two different hours of a given day, and you'll find many differences In the colors you perceive.

Nothing yet on their webpage...

Nothing official so far, but a US tour should start in march 2017. 70 years of USAF? Century of USA's entry into WW1?
-
I'm pretty sure you'll see them at some airshows during the US 2017 season.

Concerning the 109, there's also this one, by JC Mermet and CJ Erhengardt, two French Luft specialist well known over here. A must buy for 109 fans, I think. Their work is based on factories archives. There an english language version available here.

And the Valiants, available and much cheaper, but this is not the same league.
-
Here are the books I was talking about. JaPo. I'm afraid they're sold out by now, so difficult to find and expensive. But what a pair of references! Other books by JaPo could be of some interest to you, check their web page. The Crandall's. They're completing each other with JaPo. I think they're still available. But nevertheless difficult to find, and expensives.

There are Valiant Wings books, with one each for the A and D, maybe even the Ta 152. But they're not exclusively turned toward camo and markings. Best references ever to me are the two-volume Crandall and JaPo, with the same remark as above.

Many thanks, Steven.

Where oh where is our Hornet replacement?

Nearly fall from my chair with this one! ;) -
Yes, congratulations! Always been a fan of your production, not only in 1/72, but also in 1/35.

Don't know, I didn't check, as I'm more interested by Vietnam era.Agree, my post's formulation could have been better.

I do not have facts, but I think it was minimal.

Great books indeed... At least if you can read French.Usually, once they're out of stock, they double their price on eBay.

MMP is a Polish outfit. The Alouette and SF books you're talking about, I think, are from LELA presse, which is indeed French. LELA also run an online bookshop, and they sell MMP.Could be worth a try, don't know about P&P to the USA, though.
