John, I noticed that you have the flaps lowered in the photographs you have posted, what company produced your models, and what scale? Did you buy aftermarket flaps to modify them? And if so, what is the brand you used? I was wondering if I could use the Tamyia flaps with my Hasegawa kit. Thanks, Creepykid

Hello all, My "summer project" for the year is to finish my 1/48 scale P-51D with markings as Bud Anderson's "Old Crow" from the 357th FG. I am currently using the Osprey Modeling: P-51 book to assist me in the building as well as the "Walk Around" series P-51. If anyone would like to post here any books / pictures / websites that i might find helpful information, that would be greatly appreciated. I just think that "Plonky" is a cool plane!

I just had my birthday about a week ago and my dad (creepyguy) got me a couple of new models . He got me a 1:48 TBF/M Avenger and a Douglas A-1J Skyraider. I will probably make the Avenger a Grumman TBF-1C Avenger NZ2518 "Plonky" 30th Squadron, RNZAF, 1944. It should have the same markings as the US Navy and Marines, which should be pretty cool! The Skyraider I will probably make a US Air Force Skyraider, not sure from which squadron yet, but it will be one that escourted the Jollies to pick up downed airmen in Vietnam, also probably pretty cool! He also got me a really cool book, Thunder

Hello all, My dad ,creepyguy, and i are doing Hasegawa P-40E's for the GB. He is building Dallas Clinger's "Holding My Own" no. 38. I am currently building Lt. Clyde Kinsley's Typhoon McGoon no. 16. We have detailed the interior by placing some Edwards PE details inside. We have finished putting the cockpit and the intake together and and have mounted them inside the plane. We are both looking forward to painting them. After finishing the painting we will only have to finish some detail work and the landing gear. We hope to upload some pictures sometime soon. does anyone have a banner with a P-40E on it? I am constructing a P-40E for the GB and wanted to know if there was a banner with a P-40e on it. I saw the banner with the early model P-40 on it, and i will have to do until i can get a P-40 E. Thanks a lot, Creepykid
