  1. Hi I have 2 Badger airbrushes: 100 FX side feed and a siphon feed 200NH. Today whilst spraying with my 100 i noticed that the coverage area was a rather fine and the lines didnt seem to blend into one another giving a smooth coverage.I wondered if my needle was maybe a bit fine for spraying 1/48 fuselage/wings so was thinking maybe i could swop this needle out for the medium needle in my 200 NH. Any thoughts as to if this is possible or why the spray was fine. I pulled the a/b further back from the model but the coverage still wasnt as smooth as id liked. Areas of the model where display

  5. Can you also use thinner lacquer directly applied with a cotton bud or will this damage the plastic?
  6. I'm a bit confused about the concept of liquid cement. I thought any cement that was runny was regarded as liquid cement. Is the Revell Contacta with thin tube needle applicator regarded as 'liquid cement'?? What are the pros and cons of using liquid cement as apposed to superglue? Thanks guys
  7. Can superglue go off or become ineffective. I have a bottle i think its only a yr old but when i used it recently it didnt seem to bond instantly at all! In fact it seemed to take a while to dry and i could still move parts around....does this mean its gone bad???
  8. Beautifully done sums it up perfectly! What kit is it by the way?
  9. I have glued the fueselage halves together after inserting the cockpit, but need to clean it as its dirty from being handled during painting and assembly. I guess i should have worn surgical gloves, but i didn't so any suggestions on how to clean it prior to painting? Obviously soaking in warm soapy water isn't an option at this stage...
  10. Neat looking cockpit and pilots cammo. Way to go! Hows the build coming on, any more progress pics to show? :)

  12. Gotta agree the weathering looks super realistic
  13. Whilst cleaning my a/b this evening i noticed a very tiny slight kink at the tip. I managed to straighten it out for all intents and purposes with my thumbnail. Must have happened whilst i was backwashing with kitchen towel and applied too much pressure My question really is how will effect the spraying/action of my a/b if at all. Note it is only a v tiny kink, hardly visible at all. A fellow modeller mentioned a could try straighten it out with fine sandpaper by filing up and down the tip?? Its bugging me now
