To solve US Navy‘s Super Hornet/tanker problem, Lockheed Martin offered a new purpose-built F-35 to fill the role of carrier-based tanker. The new F-35s are dubbed E’s and doesn’t have weapon bays nor have the targeting sensor below the nose. Along with stealthy metallic paint was not applied. In January of 2022, the first batch of E’s reached the Fleet. Each F-35 squadron was assigned 4 aircraft. My F-35E represents one from VFA-31 “Tomcatters” while onboard the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln, callsign “Douche Nozzle One-One”. To see more of her along with a list of things I

Thanks Cool Hand Here's a couple of in progress shots of her nose job. Take care, Steven

Thanks STORM. Love the idea. Thanks Thadeus. Her stencils was a daunting task to start. But I broke it up into more manageable section, like front of nose, rear of fuselage, top of wings... And took about a week to complete. Thanks Janissary. It was a struggle to find the right balance of details, decals, paint.... and go overboard. She's busy but I feel it's the right amount. Thanks again everyone, Steven

This project was a combination of two inspiration sources. The first is this paint scheme made by “Panther G” and this image of an IAF F-15D carrying an Air-launched Ballistic Missile To see more, look here... https://www.far148studio.com/portfolio-2/usafmudhen Stay safe and keep busy, Steven

Thanks SERNAK Mobile devices do have some major limits but they do come in handy. I frequently use mine for in progress pictures. But when it comes to final images, I turn to my DLSR and my point and shoot camera. Stay safe, keep busy and thanks again, Steven

I'm I the only one who is curious about how this kit is parted out? I spot very few seams. It appears Tamiya is working its magic. Thanks Tamiya for bringing yet another superior kit to the market. Steven

Kaibutsu, RichardL and crackerjazz Your welcome guys Great suggestion Habu2. I didn’t add Mirrorless DSLR due to my limited experience to them. But the process of photographing scale models with them shouldn’t be any different from using a DSLR. Stay safe, keep busy and thanks again, Steven

This has been a project I’ve been wanting to do for some time now. This is for those who struggle with photographing their models and want to get better results. This is a tutorial of a process that I’ve used for years and hopefully it can help others. https://anadventureinawesome.com/2021/01/24/photographing-scale-models/ Stay safe and keep busy! Steven

Hello there, Wondering if you all have any personal modeling rules or habits you swear by? For me, before I enter my modeling/hobby room, I got to wash my hands. In the past I've b!tched up to many paint jobs from having not clean hands. Could be grease or oil from food and snacks, thinner or other solvents from cleaning my airbrush. I've been practicing this for over 20 years now and its one less thing to deal with. I have others but this on stands out for me. I'm curious if you all have any modeling habits? Steven
