  1. I know that Gunze Paint makes a COCOA BROWN. If I remember corectly, I think you can get away with Testors standard Brown as a Cocoa Brown. As for a sun yellow, I think you can get away with a standard Testors Yellow or any other yellow. Does anyone happen to have a copy of the Revell Magnum PI instructions they could post? Hope this helped Cheers
  2. Here's the thread we had a while back on TC's chopper and the history of the various 500's. Interiors and skids were discussed also. This should be helpful. I love to see your build! TC's Helicopter Also, here's the paint scheme info on TC's helicopter on my web page. TC's Paint scheme. Cheers John
  3. Confirm molded in white with gray interior parts. Hobbylinc.com has had the best price I've seen for the kit. Cheers
  4. You're more brave than I am when it comes to cutting things open. Way to go! Regarding the LifeNet decals. I have the med cross finished, just need to do the red stripe which will take some laying out and playing with to get close. Worst case, Tim Bradely can knock it out easily. He has way more experiance than I do and he does some kicken work. I look forward to following your build. Cheers John
  5. OOOOOOOO!!! That's a nice variety of units. Coming from a civilian model builder; man, I like that! A LOT!!!! Now if there was just a 1/35th scale NOTAR conversion set. Cheers John
  6. I'M FINALLY MAKING SOME HEAD WAY IN MY WANTS LIST. A GOOD REASON NOT TO GIVE UP! SEE MY UP DATES IN ORIGINAL POST.
  7. If anyone has a 1/35th scale MD 500-E LA Sheriff or Gunship, let me know. I'm looking for one. PM me or e-me at johneagle777@yahoo.com TIA John USA
  8. Anyone have a medical 1/32 EC-135 they don't want? I'm still looking for some.
  9. Anyone familiar with the color scheme of the old LA Airways S-61Ls? I'm trying to determine if the stripe colors are red and black on silver or a midnight blue and red stripe on silver? TIA DISREGARD. THE PAINT SCHEME HAD A DARK FOREST GREEN WITH RED STRIPE ON SILVER.
  10. I actually eyeballed it per pictures and rough scale dimensions. Nothing exact. Drop me an email with any more questions you may have. johneagle777@yahoo.com That way I can send direct and more detailed. Does the program have any pins available? Cheers
  11. Tank, You will have to scratch build them yourself. I have done several for the EC-135 and BK-117. They are easy to do with balsa wood. I did onw with vac-formed parts but find the balsa a lot easier to work with and more forgiving. Below are some of my builds. Hope this helps. John
  12. I'm waiting on the relaease of Trumpeters 1/35th 365N Dauphin 2.
  13. Does anyone have pictures of their build? Would love to see!!!
  14. Hey Steve, I'm sure it boils down to the economy, maintenance/operating costs aswell as what health insurance comapnies are willing to pay to cover flights. I'm sure theirs more to it than that. Med Flight is a non-profit program. They originally were called Grant Life Flight in the 80's. They had a BO-105 and 2 BK-117s. Then they merged with SkyMed of OSU (S-76A & BO-105) to form Med Flight of Ohio. Again, an effort to reduce cost and competition. The BO-105 was put to rest a couple years ago and is no longer being manufactured. So it will be a matter of time before support dwindle
  15. If anyone is looking to part with their medical EC-135, let me know. PM me or E-me. TIA John USA
  16. Awww! Never mind. I see it was completed last year. Boy, I really lost track of that build.
  17. Hey Anthony, Good to see you back. I've been away for a while myself. It's easy to get caught up with life. I sure hope you will be posting more pictures. Hint-hint-elbow-elbow. ;-) I love following your projects. It always helps me spark ideas. Hope all is well with family and home. John
  18. So what ever happened to this Group Build?
  19. Hey Gang, Here's the latest update on my project. These were the two paint schemes of Med Flight 1. Sadly, the EC-135s will be replaced with by EC-130s. I have some small details to finish up and the 135's will be finished. Next will be the BK-117. You can see the progress and other builds on my new, official webapge. www.airmedicalpost.com/builds.html Hope all is well. John
  20. I've used it out of the bottle, no thinning. Used low pressure. 20-25 psi I test sprayed on a flat board to see how it would lay and get a feel of the different distances from the work surface. I saw good results 6-9 inches from the work area. Loved the results! Pep: I will consider your thinning method next run to see how she behaves. Thanks for that info. Cheers
  21. Hey Guy, I look forward to watching this build. The search light looks like something you can use from the 1/32 Blue Thunder kit. Cheers John
  22. How's the offshore diorama coming?

I'm looking for some S-76A & C drawings for a 1/48 - 1/50th scale project I'm working on. I'm going to have to scratch build my own S76. I'm in the process doing a S76B. Do you have access to obtaining any drawings? I need details of the doghouse to nail that profile and airframe.

    Email me at johneagle777@yahoo.c...

  23. UPDATED. SEE ORIGINAL INITIAL POST.
