Great Model, and you are right about spaceshipmodelers, their service and prices are just awesome. I wonder how many tiger I and II have been canibalized making star wars ships..they are in at least 3 of them (originally at least)

That was a veeery nice figure!!! I will write an article for arcair soon about the show. I'm glad you guys were happy about it and had nice results. ric

Hi, yes it was that musai, thanks! The show was very good what did you enter? Sorry If don't recognize you I'm very bad in remembering names. Apologizes ric

A few shots of my tiny (length 12 cm ca) musai. Thay have been taken with natural light, and they are a little bit dark. I also spotted an inaccurate allignment of the decal on starboard side, I hate that. One should always take pictures before finishing the model. http://img337.imageshack.us/img337/5467/dsc03951bf6.th.jpg[/img] http://img406.imageshack.us/img406/4033/dsc03950qc1.th.jpg[/img] http://img264.imageshack.us/img264/4875/dsc03948vz9.th.jpg[/img] http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/2900/dsc03955pt7.th.jpg[/img] http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/1060/dsc03954wi7.th.jpg[/img]

yep this also demonstrates that mecha modeling can be really serious

I was suggesting Fichtenfoo's community, probably the best among the western sci-fi communities, IMHO. Also http://codyscoop.com/ has a wonderful tutorial on how to battle damega/ weather mechas. Are you building the battroid version or the aircraft one? However my suggestion is: do not damage too much, it's very easy to overdo when it comes to sci-fi subjects ric

They are not partners in the Eurofighter consortium, so my guess is that they might be inclined towards a north european weapon system or the JSF, however it's hard to guess since we should know their requirements. It will be however a good test for the eurofighter to see its capability of being sold outside the 4 countries consortium. ric

I have a new desktop image, this picture it's just awesome

The same probably was spotted over Mobile yesterday afternoon, my friend told me about it during dinner.

Thaks for sharing, these are really wonderful pictures ric

I also use Future+Tamiya FB. 30% in volume (with respect to the total volume) of FB gives a flat finish, the only problem is that it needs multiple coats, I mean a lot of coats (3 at least) anybody has found a way to overcome this? ric

I personally use either the Maimeri or Windsor and Newton transparent mask. It's made for artist colors so you can find it in art supplies stores. It works great, the only problem is that once it is set it's transparent. That can be fixed by adding food color in the liquid (it's liquid latex). Apply it with an old brush and you are done. IMHO stay away from the Gunze masking solution it just sticks to the part ric

yep, i meant in addition to that, I have a question which aircraft replaces the OV-10 in Bat-21? ok not about a fighter but an excellent movie Macross Zero features also a Mig-29 If I remember correctly. An F-4 appears also in Andromeda Strain
-
I remember in that movie they show a crash land on a monitor but the aircraft really crashing is a Panther or a Banshee... nothing close to an F-14 .. F-18s also in "Stealth"
