  1. I mean, you bring up a point i wanted to say but figured it would be obviously too political. If they were to control or affect news cycle, it is obvious they would have done it differently than sending random planes to Syria... Otherwise; 509 and 511. (not that there was much doubt they are the prime suspects)
  2. Exactly. Making some sort of conspiracy theory that they sent over T-50's (and then officially kept silent about it) to push some news away and have this as replacement is laughable at best. One could be making that sort of argument about any news ever from Russia. I for one think Russia won in figure skating in order to push the T-50 news away; http://www.bbc.com/sport/winter-olympics/42981323 I mean, as i dont see a dedicated T-50/PAK-FA news story on the front page it must be true. (it is given a passing reference here) So yeah, any sort of news control like that or
  3. Considering there hasnt been basically a peep in the news about the deployment - you would need to work on your theory some more...
  4. See here. (two pages, high res) And here.
  5. You two do realize they have made 1/48 XB-70 and 1/48 B-36, right?
  6. Pre-production or not, atleast 1 more person on earth has those issues with the kit (Jeffrey) and when i pointed out and asked about the most prominent panelline issue in your thread you ignored it and continued on with the quite literal sales pitch. It is safe to assume every other kit that has been made so far has these panelline issues too. So pre-production or not is irrelevant in this case. Note, i asked you before Jeffrey posted his pictures. Also disappointingly, instead of Haneto answering in a direct manner he is doing some sort of sales pitch too. Is that particular panel
  7. Any comment on the panelline across the spine that meets the slats? Just light or is it deeper than the rest of them? Cockpit and engine gondola details look excellent.
  8. + Pay attention. The color of the clear plastic is excellent.
  9. Yes, there are dozens of them. DOZENS! Since you assume i don't like any kit ever made, i will go ahead and assume you are unable to produce any sort of critical thinking, ever. There might be no issue whatsoever with the angle of the exhaust. Or there might be, I don't know. If anything i would like there not to be any issues, that would mean the pictures are misleading and the kit is perfectly fine. But once again, people like you are unable to even stomach a question asking whether something is perfect or not.
  10. Hmm, hard to tell but the way exhaust sits in its normal resting position doesnt look quite right; Neither them being at enough angle downwards or inwards. But they might be moveable or something?
  11. I wonder, when AMK releases their F-14 and MoFo will definitely buy and build a dozen or so of them (since apparently it is such a dear aircraft and kit to him???), what will he be complaining about next? Which company will be the chosen one? Stay tuned! Either way, i am looking forward to the inevitable MoFo AMK F-14 in-progress thread. I can only imagine how frustrating it must be to have nothing else available in model world for the past 3 years to be worthy of being built other than the AMK F-14.
  12. This is extremely petty, childish and uncalled for. Especially since you said yourself, and i quote;
  13. Pfft, everyone knows plasma stealth is Russia's shtick :P
  14. I know Ken - I am just expressing that i am surprised it was flying with/testing ER/ET. And the missiles are ER/ET.
  15. Soooo cool. Looking forward to seeing this one built. I am a bit surprised it was already testing R-27ER/ET at that point? Would have expected vanilla R/T.
  16. Thanks for the kind words. Here are some pics with the main decals on;
  17. I used AKAN's 73059 out of the bottle. I dont think it is quite right but i wanted to use AKAN for some major project and i dont like mixing colors at all. Although i did mix AKAN's cockpit color (73005) with a few drop of Vallejo deep sky blue. But that is more doable and easier to control. Main decals are on as of this evening. Have to go over the rivets and panellines so decals really form into them. They actually settle nicely without any solution by themselves, but a little extra help with something sharp always makes it even better. Will post new pictures after that is done.
  18. Wow, really sleek build! Nothing to critique build wise on it, but if you plan to build another one some day (you should! :P) i would recommend; - Get the Eduard resin wheels. Worth every penny. The wheels are pretty much the only weak point detailwise OOB on the kit and resin replacements will really lift the model. - I am a believer that wiring on landing gear really helps the model a lot too, especially for a large model like this one and in a large scale like this. Otherwise it looks slightly bare, imho. But as said otherwise it is a fantastic model, well done!
  19. Heh, atleast it is a pretty major update. :P A lot has been done in those 2 years even though i am obviously still a very slow (and lazy) model builder by all measurements.
  20. Been a looooong time since i have done and update here, so here is one. :) Stencils are placed, quite a lot of work but totally worth it. Decals has been acting very nicely, no complaints.
  21. Got it. To never have any sort of production issues ever one should simply just make everything perfect in every imaginable way from the start. If only someone has ever thought of that radical idea before.
  22. Technically i am still right as 6 years is "over 5 years". I seemed to remember it got it as part of the structural modifications it got between August 2011 and September 2012 but yeah, you are right. It got it in summer of 2011, prior to MAKS 2011.
  23. T-50-1 has had the long stinger (containing anti-stall parachute) for over 5 years now. Phase 2 frames have longer stinger which contains a radar that is part of the L402 Himalaya ECM system.
