yeah, that's why I scratchbuilt an entirely new rudder and fin fillet

I had thought about the undercarriage, and I'm going to try and scratchbuild some new ones, or just add on to the old ones, to make them look stronger.

I'm building a 1/72 Tamiya F-51D as a "what if" US Navy fighter. I added wing folds, an arrestor hook, an enlarged fin fillet/rudder, and I added a nose gun in the prop and bulges for the gun right behind the exhausts. I'd really like something that might distinguish it a little more from the other US Navy fighters I have. I've got the all-around Gloss Sea Blue scheme planned for it. If anyone has any ideas, they'd be appreciated. Thanks
