I used the Gunze metalic colors, then weathered it with Tamiya weathering set(metalic blue, rust, carbon black ..etc.), then sealed it with a clear coat, also, the clear coat covered on the metalic color will creat a dull, matt-like looking surface that emulates the real burned effect we usually see on the exhaust nozzles.

set the metering mode to "spot" when shooting the photos, and point the camera to the model itself so to ignore the background linght(hence the dark background) adjust the light to focus on your model only
