  1. Bump for updated list and pics. Also bump for list of bagged kits I have for sale (LINK!). 😉
  2. Got 150 bagged kits for sale. They're mostly 1/72 jets and helos, but also some 1/48 aircraft, some 1/35 armour and some 1/700 ships. Kits are bagged because they were submerged when a thunderstorm flooded my cellar a couple of years ago. All kits were cleaned and dried carefully. They’re now stored individually in large ziplock bags. The kits are all complete. Some parts may be off the runners, but are included. I will check them again, though. A few sprues have some discolourations (no clue why), but the plastic is till fine. The kits are sold without decals and instructions. Some decals and instructions may still exist and I will look for them, but it’s quite likely instructions and/or decals are gone. If decals still exist, it may be that they’re (at least in part) unusable due to water damage. Payment via PayPal (or IBAN bank transfer in Europe). Shipping would be via DHL. Thanks to Corona, some areas may be off limits or outrageously expensive to ship to. NOTE: Shipping to the USA is ridiculously expensive at the moment. 53 EUR minimum. DHL insists on "premium service" and a large (<5kg weight) parcel. Shipping to Canada is still expensive, but nowhere near as much (20 EUR tracked and <2kg). Feel free to shoot me a PM with the # number of the kit if you have any questions (also regarding shipping). Maybe you’ll find something you’ve already got aftermarket decals for. There are also a lot of (boxed) kits left over in my other thread: LINK! #001: 1/48 Hasegawa AH-64A Apache “Peten” IDF – 10 EUR #002: 1/48 Hasegawa AH-64D Apache JGSDF (was boxing PT42, I think) - 10 EUR #003: 1/48 Hasegawa AH-64D Apache JGSDF (was boxing PT42, I think) - 10 EUR - PENDING! 3. Oh, that's a paint? 😲 Wow! Even more impressive then. Would've thought it was some sort of shiny film.
  4. http://www.chukw.com/Hobby/MiG21/MiG21_Andreea_10.jpg ---------------------- Something's definitely funky with the links. Adding tags and removing them didn't produce any results. Typing the links out in Word without tags and copy+past'ing them to the forum produced something, but the last pic still won't show up. Not even if I enter it into the browser's adress bar. Hmmm. At least the rest show now.
  5. I use three 120mm computer fans with a fan speed control unit powered by an old PC power supply unit. Exactly!
  6. All the more reason not to add to the burden on your lungs.
  7. Jolly good photos! I don't know... There's something otherworldly about Apaches. They look really menacing. Cool beasts.
  8. Nice build. Don't see JF-17s too often. A pity, really, as it's a pretty neat design.
  9. Fantastic Tomcat! Great weathering.
  10. I think this kit (along with its F.24 sister) and the 1/48 Lightning from those days are regarded as the best kits of the "old Airfix". This one sure turned out great!
  11. Lovely work on those missiles and pylons. Depicting the hanging rollerons is a great idea.
  12. Vader is too harsh. The WSO's visor looks great! How did you achieve that effect? Or should that be ECMO's visor? Wizzo's visor sounds cooler, though. 😄
  13. This is really quite something! Impressive detailing and painting.
  14. I also built my own paint booth. I still wear a respirator when airbrushing, though. I also wear a respirator when smoothing putty with Mr. Color Thinner. Didn't mean to be scary. 😉 No, seriously. When handled properly, these things aren't harmful. To be able to handle them properly, you need to know what you're dealing and what the risks are. No clue where these chemicals are used apart form these paints. And they're probably an extreme example as far as hobby supplies go, but I think they illustrate that there are indeed substances for hobby use that can be harmful if handled carelessly.
  15. That doesn't mean it hasn't happened. Unlikely? Yes. Impossible? Not at all. No. The warnings are there because people don't know - for example - what heck isocyanates will do to your body when exposed to them without protection. See the pdf on "Safety working with Isocyanate" on the ZeroPaints website (LINK!). Quoted from said pdf: ^^^And this stuff is marketed to scale modellers. Common sense here IS the existence of warning labels so people know what they're exposing themselves to.
  16. With proper protection, they're not. But.... "All things are poison, and nothing is without poison; the dosage alone makes it so a thing is not a poison." Attributed to Paracelsus (early 15th century). Some of the chemicals used in modelling aren't good for your health when used without proper protection. Your lung doesn't like fine airborne particles, whether they're from enamels, lacquers or acrylics. Just because you can't smell a paint or glue doesn't mean it can't be dangerous for your lung. Err on the side of caution. Use proper personal protection equipment. i.e. an appropriate respirator while airbrushing. A spray booth when painting indoors (either venting outside or with a proper filter). You may not see or smell them, but the fine airborne mist lingers for quite some time after you're done airbrushing. Always wet sand resin to cut down on the dust as much possible. There's enough sh!t in the air that'll go into your lung that you can't do anything about. For the stuff you can do something about, do it. Seriously. It doesn't hurt.
  17. Tons of cool options! Loving the full-colour instructions. VAST improvement over the black and white instructions. Have you got something planned for the Mi-24P? 1/72 at first (of course! ), but I guess Zvezda will eventually release a 1/48 Mi-24P also.
  18. Nice one! Gotta be one of the coolest paint schemes ever!
  19. Very nice Kfir! What colours did you use for the camouflage scheme?
