  1. And a bloody great effort, that is! Absolutely great! @topic:Right now, if only got one of TwoBobs decals - for the 72nd F-14 Black Lions retro-bird... It hasn't been built yet, of course... Planning on acquiring two more...
  2. Yeah, of course. I just wanted to know whether this is a typical load-out. As for the exhausts, I'm pretty sure they'll have the correct nozzles. IIRC the nozzles in the A kit were on a seperate sprue that only contained the nozzles. So, just add a new sprue, and - voila! Hope they'll do it...
  3. According to their website, this will be the box-art for Revell's new 144th F-14D Sadly, though, their site doesn't say anything at all about a bomb load-out... which means I'll have to scavenge from Dragon's birds... The box-art shows a VF-101"Grim Reapers" bird. Is the air-to-air load-out correct? This is the same aircraft, taken from the signature of ScreamingEagles Hasegawa's instructions for their 72nd rendering of this bird call out AN/AAQ-14 pods. This would indicate a bomb-carrying plane. Who is right? Better yet, would both load-outs be possible?
  4. Well, both, of course! :) No, seriously, both are nice. I'd go for the African one. Although I haven't yet seen one in Moldovan markings... Is it me, or are the Sudanese MiGs looking like those from Battlefield 2 ??? Do a MEC one :D !
  5. I believe you made it into AirForces Monthly with this shot! Congratulations, man!
  6. Topic says it all! I recently purchased Hasegawa's Draken double feature of the Austrian special liveries. But I'd also like to do two Swedish ones. One like this and one in the old livery like this (perhaps the one with the sawfish!) Should there be no aftermarket decals AND should I be able to get another of the double features (seem to be the only ones around right now...) I'll ask again in the Marketplace section to swap the Austrian decals for Swedish ones. That is, should I be able to get another one...
  7. Yeah! The only nice thing about the X-32 would be that the intake just screams for shark-mouths...
  8. Whoa, nice one, mate! I heard there's 25 million out for information leading to his arrest! No, really, some people are...well, you can only shake your head at them...
  9. I browsed through their forum to find your post and was really amazed at their negative responses. I mean, what's the use? Here is someone who is going great lenghts to preserve something close to his heart, and all (well, almost) they do is being negative: "Nah, it's not worth keepin'..." Firekin 'ell. B)
  10. Keep 'em coming! Just what I need!
  11. Signed it! Also put it up on the German aircraft board flugzeugforum.de. Hope, it'll help!
  12. IAF (or IDF/AF) F-4 IFR-probes.... F-16 CFTs... Brimstones.... oh, and the necessary parts to upgrade Revell's 72nd Tornado Gr.1 to Gr.4 PLEEZ!
  13. Sheesh, you learn something new every day at this place....
  14. That frosted canopy is a GREAT idea! How did you come up with such an idea? I mean, most guys would never ever do stuff like that to their canopies, but that idea...BRILLIANT! Now all you gotta wait for is the right weather (and the right position of the sun in the early morning) and them piccies will be outstanding!
  15. Yeah, strange, isn't it? Let's hope for the Special Hobby one...although I'm afraid it'll be relatively expensive...
  16. I'm just guessing, but could it be that the newer one is for a different kit, say Revell or the like, whereas your older one was made specifically for the Hasegawa kit??? As I said, not sure, just taking (wild) guesses!
  17. Get a PayPal account! They're trouble-free, almost free of charge (well, they charge a bit through exchange rates) PLUS you can shop at evilBay in the US or in Japan or in Hong-Kong. Boy, do they have some cheapo kits... EDIT: @DoctorPepper: How much would you charge for shipping of, say, five 72nd pods to Germany?
  18. From what I've found on flugzeugforum.de there are several kits that have not previously been announced, yet they will hit stores soon: These are Revell of Germany(...don't know about Monogram) A-26B Invader 1/72 10/2006 Horten Go-229 1/72 09/2006 RF-4E Phantom Tigermeet 1/72 10/2006 F4 U-4 Corsair ''Flying Bulls'' 1/48 10/2006 JAF B-25 Mitchel 1/48 09/2006 F-14 Super Tomcat 1/144 09/2006 @topic: How about asking Revell to do a dedicated weapons kit? I mean, compared to Hasegawa, you'd get twice the ordna
  19. Topic says it all: Is there? I read something about Special Hobby coming up with one in 72nd... Any info when??
  20. Don't know whether you already know them or not, but here goes... First in-progress pics of Trumpeter's new A-6.... :P Found them over on flugzeugforum.de. Also my first try with Photobucket. Copyrights are with Trumpeter For all you 32nd guys I hope it will hit stores soon. EDIT: Yeah, I know they're not really in-progress, but I thought it interesting to see a tool done. Kinda like at home, innit? :o
  21. I actually wanted to post a topic here for this bird.... Good to see it had been done before. But, MAN, what a Bird!!!! Goota be one of the best yet in 72nd!
  22. Watcha gonna say 'bout this one???? found over on modellingmadness.com's F-18 reader's page...
  23. Does anybody know on what occasion they were painted like this? I mean, high-viz roundels? They must have been gone for ages... Would the air-defence load-out be a typical one? Or rather a bomb-load as Andy's pics of the instructions suggest? Or no ordnance at all? And thanks for the info. Were it not for you guys, I would have never found it... ;)
